that is the number I was at for a while, only getting 2 or 3, then the manga boom came and yeah, better series, more i was interested in, and soon I jumped from 100 to 150 to 200 quite fast.

I'd have to say that me and my hubby buy it at least once a month. I've got to keep up on the ones that I have before they stop selling them and I'm always looking for new anime to watch. I hate watching them on tv just because there is way to many commercials in between.

yeah, commercials are bad, I haven';t watched real TV in ages, for in a dorm with no TV makes it hard. I am now watching anime on my computer all the time. I realyl should go read my books and get off mene, but it is soo addicting.

I probably buy around 10 volumes a month at minimum. I've spent over $300 on manga in one month, sometimes; when I had a job that is. ^^; Now I only get them now and then. I got a few for Christmas and I spent the rest of a bookstore giftcard I got yesterday...so I'm still seeming to meet the ten a month, since I got quite a bit...

I love manga, so it's rather addicting. I've gotten carried away sometimes about buying volumes. One time I got about 20...but there were sales, I'd just gotten paid, and I actually had the spare money to pull it off. x3

yeah, when I have money, it is liek 300 dollars to anime , but it does not all go to manga, while I had both jobs I went to europe and bought crazy amounts of anime there, like i finished my CLAMP no Kiseki collection and other stuff. bought somewhere near 800 in 3 weeks, maybe more. But yeah, yeah people who spend loads of money on anime unite, we are small but mighty against or for the companies!

Ah I use to never notice how much I spent, but then after a while managed to count the number of new books I needed and weather it was a lot or a little that month then averaged them. So in a sense I never actually count while in a bookstore, or have a budget, that is always bad.

Twice a month is my usual. Sometimes more, but lately I've been broke.

yeah, that is how I use to be, but it was every holiday and I just learned to let my money last through the other months too, for in august when there is no holiday i felt weird not having my anime fix.

I live 5 minutes from my local Borders and get coupons from them constantly so lets just say that I average around 5 manga a month (unless there's the buy 4 get the 5th free sale...).

I don't buy anime often because I actually enjoy manga more. I will buy a boxset here and there but it has to be something that I know I will watch over and over again. What I really wish was available was an anime rental store, that way I can legally test out a series before I decide to buy it. Until then I do watch online and hope that what I enjoy gets licensed (plan to get Jigoku Shoujo at the next con and Lucky Star when its released). If the anime I have seen is good but not something I'm going to continually watch, I usually check out the manga, which is why Borders loves me.

I used to buy them all the time, but my recent obsession with Chuck Palahniuk's novels have rerouted my book funds. ^_^

Not often.

To me, buying anime/manga is kind of a waste of money. I mean, ten years from now, will I find myself reading it again? No, not really. So I stick with libraries and reading at Borders~

The only series that I've actually wanted to buy is Shinshi Doumei Cross. ^^;

Ah, well I can see it, see for me 10 years from now, i might still. I am up to where i still read a series I bought 8, so I figure it isn't too hard.

I buy manga about once a month and anime whenever something comes out that I want. I rent from animetakeout so I always have new anime to watch but I buy when I really enjoy something or I see a really good deal on a series that I like. I only buy individual dvds when I can't wait for the thinpack now though. I bought Gilgamesh in individuals and I'm buying Tsubasa that way but other than that I wait to buy the whole series or season for a discounted price.

Eh..its hard to say..i usually go to the mall every week or every 2 weeks. Sometimes I buy a manga or two for that week. The book store usually doesn't have the manga that I am getting. I am working on the NANA series at the moment. They are really hard to get -_-: took me a month to find the 5 book DX I finally finished a few series already. Like Snow Drop!! ^_^

toss up makes sense. i no longer have access to a bookstore every week, for it takes too long to get over to the bookstore now. It is fine, but now i buy in bulk a bit more.

I dont have any kind of routine. It is very much dependent on when my local shops gets stock in and my university workload. Some months I'll buy 9 volumes of manga and a couple of DVDS, others I won't buy anything at all. As we stand, it's about a month since I bought any manga, though I'm saving up my money at the moment.

It really depends on what's going on. If there is a good sale then I will buy in bulk, but other then that it depends on what goodies are being released. I usually finish favorite series as they come, and start new series during sales. About 1-5 disks a normal month.

One manga per month. Well it really depends on my mood.
But sometimes I just read manga in the internet.
