I also kinda really hated Harry in the later books .___. "OMG MY LIFE B SO TRAJIK RON U SUX HERMIONE UR DUM ILU GINNY BUT UR GUNNA DIE SO GTFO PLZ".

Bella in Twilight books -___- ohgaaaawd, she drives me crazy. I don't care that she's the main character :/ she just gets so bratty as the series goes on.

Oh, and in Great Expectations I hated Estella so muuuch ):

I lothe the characters from "Wuthering Heights". I hated that book so much that when I was done with it I threw it a cross the room and screamed "I never have to read you again!" I hated the character Cathrine so much that in the first few pages of that book I wanted to strangle her. I also hate the character Umbridge from Harry Potter. I want to throw her into a boiling pit of lava. Lets see what character do I not like...humm...OH Harry Potter also annoyed me that I started to hate him but he redeamed himself in the end. I think that is about it. I can not think of any more. But I know there are others.

I absolutely hate the character Macbeth, in Macbeth. I just hate him.

The character Mulligan in Piercing the Darkness made me want to jump in the book and tear his eyes out. First, he's apart of the cult in the Community College, convincing everyone to turn agains a small school. Then he's apart of a brain washing technique that convinces the main characters daughter that he raped her.

I also hated the main character in Catcher in the Rye. The guy is a wuss. Seriously.
...and any character associated with that book, just because the book was really tedious, and they didn't help at all.

Hmmm...Ginny kind of annoyed me from the Harry Potter series.

And I never particularly liked the nurse from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. If there ever was evil, that nurse embodies it all.

The Patriarch from the Coldfire series by C.S. Friedman. I just wanted to jump into the book and kick him repeatedly in the head. =/ Not only was he annoying, but the chapters with him in it were boring. Gerald Tarrant, from the same series, also got on my nerves from time to time.

I absolutely detested the character Lord Cathe in Enemy Glory. He was so flamboyantly obnoxious, and not in a good way. There was just something about his speech pattern that made me want to strangle him.

I absolutely, positively LOATHE Richard from "The Guardian." He's very, very scary, and seems to specialize in beating up women.

I also hate Delores Umbridge from the Harry Potter series. *shivers* She almost makes me hate the color pink.

I hated Caderousse and Monsieur Calvanti in The Count of Monte Cristo. Calvanti was a criminal that was trying to screw over Albert's engagement and Caderousse was just an ass D<

His very name makes me want to kick small animals. Well, maybe not. But surely wish he were real so I could stab him in the face repeatedly.

I've never come across any more an asinine character in my life.

OH I have a few to be honest. Here's the list:

Chillingsworth = The Scarlet Letter
Larka's mother's sister = the sight
Leonce Pontellier = The Awakening [but none of the characters are that great]
Gregor = THe Metamorphosis
Mr. samsa = The Metamorphosis

Yeah, I feel the same way. I was reading through this huge list, thinking: 'man, I dunno if anybody from anything ever really ticked me off...', but it's true. Masterful control over the language an author must have to make you feel so strongly about it.

Ah wait! I do have one. Has anybody read 'Stained by Jennifer Richard Jacobson? It's pretty much the only teen novel I've read in the last age that I liked. Gabe made me so angry!

I typically hate the stupid villians that want to hurt the protagonist(s) for no reason. It's like, at least have a decent reason to hate somebody. HONESTLY!!!

Sabrina Grimm from The Sisters Grimm! I hate her so much! She's so arrogant and thinks she knows everything! I just want to go into the story and punch her!

I really hate Lucy Steele from Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility. She's so presumptuous and conniving, and she has no qualms about taking advantage of others' kindness. I hate reading the parts she's in!

Out of the entire cast of Harry Potter, I only like Hagrid, Lupin, Black, and hm...well I that's it. I pretty much hate the series ever since I got through the fourth book and no longer wanted to be near the books again, however my mom makes that situation impossible. I only hate it since it went oppressive and fanfictioned in my view, you would understand if you read the last book what I mean it reeks fanfic.

Sirius Black from "Harry Potter". JKR so obviously wants readers to like him but he was just a bully, I was the only person I know not to be upset when he died... maybe I'm just really cold hearted... :)

I hate Harry Potter. I still enjoyed the books. But I enjoy them like twinkies. They're kind of disgusting, not particularly well made any more, and they make my stomach hurt like anything. But (almost for the sake of nostalgia alone) they're so tasty!

Harry became such a prick after that testosterone kicked in. I would be on that Ernie kid's side. He's so close-minded and stupid it makes me want to stick a drill to his skull. Not to mention the appalling job 'ol Danny boy did in the movies. Now his likeness comes up while I'm reading. Ugg. He's such a flat and lifeless actor it makes me want to stick a drill to MY skull.
I wish Voldy chose Nevile.

Well, I've been reading the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series and there's this one character that I despise. Here name is Elizabeth and every time she says or does anything, I just start ranting on about how Anita should just kill her right then and there. My boyfriend was giving me a funny look because he was helping my little sister with math and out of nowhere I was like, "I hate you, Elizabeth, just die already! God, I hate you so much, you just...you...AAAARGH!!" I just screamed and strangled my book. After I was done and they were staring at me, I explained sadly, "She left Nathaniel at the club to be tortured...I love Nathaniel..." He just nodded understandingly, patted me on the head, and told me to go back to reading. I made a scene, but I couldn't help it because I hate Elizabeth that much.

I used to hate another character because she did something to Nathaniel, but she's dead now, her head delivered in a basket, so I'm okay now. <3
