I agree with you a 100%, the fact that they changed all the elements that makes the japanese show better then the 4kids show. It's still good, but it could have been better. Why they didn't follow the japanese verison is the real question.

"Mew Mew style, Mew Mew grace, Mew Mew power, in your face!"

This line is way over used. :p

Anyways I like the show still, but I don't love it.

I love Tokyo Mew Mew. (and don't get me started on how badly 4kids butchered it, 'cuz once i start listing all the things wrong with it, i'll never stop. there are some really funny youtube videos out there, though, that show the same scenes from both and comment on them.) Zakuro and Mint are my favorite characters, and I think Aoyama is pretty annoying, but he could definitely be worse.

Yeah, the english dubbed version was terrible (but 4Kids is terrible too). The original japanese is MUCH, MUCH better! I think the episodes are still on Youtube, you should have a look.
I love the manga however, my favorite character was Pudding, she was adorable. I also liked Berry in Mew Mew A La Mode (I wish they continued the series with a couple more books, the plot seemed really interesting, I'm saying this regarding to the first book of that series).

i havent watch it but i have heard of it and search the info about it in the net. they are human cats as far as i remember and they are soooo cute :angel:. and i only remember that they are all human cats >_<.

I actually saw the 4kids version first. Then I saw a bit of the original and now the manga is on my "to read list."

:3 I don't blame anyone for downloading the original. ._. I attempted to watch Mew Mew Power... I thought "Meh... the Sailor Moon dub changed the names". A few episodes in... I decided it was a lost cause. :3

I have read the first several manga of Tokyo Mew Mew and i love it already. Just recently I have watched it. I agree kumikoXdaisuke, that it is like Sailor Moon. I don't have favorite character because I love all the characters within the entire series.

Tokyo Mew Mew was the first manga i ever read, and it's the only manga that i own all the books. i haven't seen all the anime, tho. i didn't like what 4Kids did to the anime. just the fact that they changed all the names just ruined it.
but it's still one of my favorites. someday, i want to name a black kitten after Ichigo, but i never got to while i was a kid, cuz my mom hogged all the black kittens. =^_^=

Okay, I don't normally watch this kind of thing but I loved Tokyo Mew Mew.

I've watched Tokyo Mew Mew, and it does get a bit annoying with all the puns and stuff, although I did still find it adorable. But from the sounds of it the mange is pretty good, so I'll definitely have to check it out sometime soon.
