well thank you i don't use the search to often unless i have to cuz normally i just read manga which is way in the back.

I do like the two series, though I do think that both main women could spend a little less time on their backs. I admit, Merry does require it for obvious purposes, but there's so much more that could be done in the books. Do I still read the series? Yes, I do, because I still feel it's worth my time to do so and I can't stand not to finish a series. To Anita Blake, I've noticed that when she cuts the sex, her books are small, but usually much more worth the time to read. The first eight books are the absolute best. I do refuse to buy the books anymore, I haven't bought the last two or three, but I have read them. Again, I can't stand to go without finishing a seires, but I won't waste money on the books till they get really good again. I'll just snag them from friends till then. Overall, both series are good though.

I think what I love most about both series is the world building. They make the supernatural seem very real and plausible. I like the fact that they are very American in terms of setting.

I personally like both series and am happy about the new Anita Blake novel but out of the two series i like Anita Blake a bit better both are good however i am not a fan of some of her short stories they can be a little disturbing in a bad kind of way.

yea, I read some of her short stories....they're interesting....but yet disturbing....it's, like, you just can't stop reading it, but it's also so disturbing >.<

@LaVida - All of them! I just mean the world she creates/potrays where the supernatural is real and an integrated part of life almost as we know it.

Currently reading "Bullet" :) Surprising so far on some factors but of course I don't want to say why for those not reading yet, lol

I just finished flirt XD I loved the comics and the restaurant scene XD I'm currently waiting on Bullet - it's on hold Xd

I lucked out with getting it... my mother surprised me by buying it. +) She's nice to me on occasion, lol

I finished reading Bullet last night. I got pissed when I finished reading it...but it was the good kind of getting pissed though. XD As in, I wish the next book is written and out now. lol

I'm only a little past half way. It made me cry last night and then I felt like a loony.

I can't remember what happened half way through. O_O I guess that's what I get for starting a new book immediately after I finished that one. So that one is still pretty much fresh in my head instead. XD

I can't say or it'll spoil it for others. lo
Just sadness.

That's okay. I could always open the book up half way and just skim through it to see what was happening at that part of the book. XD
