lol go anita! i need to finish this book and i still haven't read any of it till today

I myself loved the Anita Blake books for the longest time. I thought the first few were amazing. The ones after were still pretty good... and then they got steadily worse and worse. Now, believe you me, I'm not one to have a problem with a little bit of steam in my novels. Sexy parts are always fun--but not when the author begins to give up plot for it. I mean, seriously. Have you guys even bothered to read 'Micha'? You shouldn't. Literally half of the book is a sex scene. And the whole thing is written in big type, double spaced, with a blank page separating each chapter. My respect for Hamilton has gone completely down the drain since she forewent any semblance of continuing Anita's plot as the Vampire Hunter of Saint Louis in favour of Anita being a, uhm... unsavoury type of woman.

I've been frightened away from reading her other series, to be honest.

I enjoy the sex parts so I liked Micah. *shrugs* Just my preference though.

the series can't be that bad, i mean the other books are never as good as the first. now if i can find the time amongst my school work to read and finish the first book i'd be doing good.

lol, but it was funny how you totally did not expect Edward in the whole Ted affair thing XD and I really liked the older brother of the two kids (totally forgot his name XD )

yeah, but then the necromancer that killed people betrayed Anita :( and it's....like, how animals are in the wild. They trust each other enough to survive, but they always watch their back in case the person that they trust bites them in the ass. Edward would be nice and say something like " Hey, Anita, I'm here to kill you now ^.^" and then bite Anita in the ass (metaphorically speaking of course *rolls eyes if you think otherwise*)

I'm only on the first one club vampire, I haven't had the time to read though, it sucks.
