It's awkward yes, but I can do it. it's not that hard if you're really coordinated. But it takes practice just as writing with both hands does.

I've never tried to do this. I'm right-handed so it would be strange for me, keep the mouse in left hand. I've never thought about it even when I had sprained finger of right hand...
Oh, I didn't know that it's possible!

Yeah I have, it was the most awkward feeling in the world. I entered a contest where you had to do a paint drawing with your mouse in the opposite hand. It looked horrible. Its much harder to navigate using a mouse, than if you were to just draw with the opposite hand. Deffinately weird.

I tried switching hands when I had surgery on my right wrist and had my whole arm bound up in bandages. It didn't go over too well, but that might have been because the general anesthesia hadn't quite worn off yet >>; I'm usually sort of ambidextrous at certain tasks, though, so I might be able to get used to it if I have to. I can touch-type with just my left hand, though - another skill I picked up when I was having wrist issues. I just can't do it as fast as I can with both hands.

I tried using the mouse with my left hand when I was eating something, it worked, but it was kinda difficult. I wouldn't be able to play games or do anything important when operating the mouse with my left hand though.
For scrolling around and clicking on links it's ok.

In school I was forced to sometimes cause my teacher was left handed and when I needed to use his computer I wouldn't be able to mess with it D:
It's kind of difficult since my brain's so set on using my right hand, etc.

I do it all the time. Currently using mouse with my left hand. Then again, i'm using a Mac Mighty Mouse. It does have two buttons, but I keep it set to only have one since i'm more used to that now. So there's nothing trippy about it for me. :3

I do when I'm on the phone.
My left hand will get tired of holding the phone so I switch it to my right hand.
Then I use the mouse with my left.
It's hard since I can't really do much with my left hand, but when I'm on the phone I'm not doing anything too complicated on the computer at the same time.

Well i experienced it before yes i cant remember if i switched it before or not (dont think so..) but when i went round my friend Heidi's house she was right handed so her mouse was on that side and when i touched it and tried to use it it felt weird so i switched to the other side instead so i could use it XD
so yea.. its impossible for me to use the mouse on the other side ^^;

Q1] Yeah, I was in a similar predicament as you (my right hand out of use) It did not go to well i'm afraid XD I believe it was after a camping trip, I was tackled by my friend and landed on my right hand >_<; I think it messed up the nerves in my right arm because I can no longer hold heavy objects with my right hand. At least not without severe pains moments later XD
Are you going to try it now, out of curiosity? I would if I were not already aware of the outcome >_>; bad stuff.
A funny story?... hmmm well, I would often click on ads and stuff by accident and end up in bad sites >_>;; nuff said.
Why cats go after clicky mice more often than they do actual mice (at least mine does) I don't think this has happened to me >_>

My mother uses her left hand. I do it sometimes, because 2 years ago i did something with my right wrist, and I have to use left one (only sometimes) :?
