Clair was nearly 5. I think her parents regret waiting for so long, but eh, they're both happy with Anna and I. xD
Though my dad isn't a HUGE part of my life, there are things he does that make me smile. Example, he gave each one of his daughters a nickname while waiting for them to be born. And he continues to use those nicknames. My nickname is Junior. My mother and father weren't sure if I were a boy or girl, but my father wanted to write to me in a journal (which I think he plans on giving me to read when I'm older) and since he wasn't sure of my gender, he just wrote 'Dear Junior'. And with my sisters, he calls them Pudge (Anna) because she was a bit of a chubby baby (she's not chubby anymore, though xD) and he calls Chloe, Bug Nut. xD

Kura was baby boo before she was born. I didn't know what else to call her so I went with boo since ya know she just kinda snuck up on us. xD
At first the twins were collectively known as midget since we thought it was only one baby... but when we found out it was twins we also found out the genders so they had their names after that point. :3
Aaron would sometimes be referred to as little man and Melody as princess, but for the most part we just used their names.
I have a friend whose daughter was almost 5 when her son was born and she adored him. They fight randomly still, like all siblings, but there wasn't nearly as much rivalry for mommys attention or trying to kill the baby that I had to deal with. >.<
OMG SO HUNGRY.

Sean was nicknamed peanut by Michael after seeing him at my first sonogram... I didn't have a nickname for Mikes cause I was hiding him :/ and right after I found out what his gender was (my second OB visit) and Mikes dad decided to just disappear... I started thinking up names... After I decided his name... I went ahead and called him Michael... He gained the nickname, Mikes, from my oldest younger brother after he was born.... And it seems to have stuck!

At first I called Sakura Suki, but it eventually changed to Kura. Not sure why/how that happened. I think I just got tired of how Scotts grandma said Suki. >.> Besides, Kura is a more fitting nickname for her since it incorporates part of her name anyway.
My back is sore. And I'm hungry. I've gotten most of the cleaning done today that I was hoping to get done...still have folding laundry and vacuuming the living room...but I don't know if I'll bother with it.
I need to call my counselor back and let her know that we've decided to just take the bad with the good and do the paternity test after the baby is born cuz, that's what they want, and regardless I'm not taking this baby home. I don't care who says what, it's not my baby, it's theirs, they can deal with their decisions. >.<
On a happy note: I joined the DQ Blizzard club last month, and this month they sent me an email coupon for a free blizzard with the purchase of one. I see an ice cream date with my hubby in our near future. ^o^

Oh that sounds good <3 I want ice cream!
I need to get on cleaning I just got myself out of the bath and I need to go to Lowes and I need to get a few things at the store....
Jayden and I have been going rounds... Not that Sean is innocent... They've been antagonizing each other :/ but Jayden has been dragging things out WAAAAAAAAAY past their expiration date... Both started hitting each other so I separated them then Sean started yelling at Jayden and Jayden started pointing at Sean and yelling at him O_O;; seriously children!!! Are you SERIOUS!!! After about 5 minutes of that both got a swat on the butt... >.>
After both had stopped their fit over the swat... Jayden started crying EVERY TIME I started talking... >.>;; Such a freaking drama queen... Then after about 10 times of trying to talk around her... I moved her to the hall... And told her she could come out when she was done throwing a fit... Which was about a minute later... so waddled into the room and I told her to sit by Sean... (who was laying on his stomach playing with a car) and she sat on his head ><;; I told her "no no' and she started WAILING again we went back and forth for 35 minutes ><;; before I put her in the crib... Every time I would tell her to come back into the living room when she would get a handle on herself and she'd come back in I'd say ONE thing and she'd start again :( jeez... As soon as Dillon got home from taking Mikes to school she was his... I had just gotten her to settle down he walked in and it started all over...
But it seems like she is better now... Mostly... Dillon let me take a bath and kept the kiddos quiet during it all!

Three cheers for Dillon! lol
Kura is mad at me for not letting her have candy with lunch. :/ I took away the fun sized piece I'd packed in her lunch, since chocolate isn't good for sore throats or sick babies and she got mad at me. :headdesk: Momma can't win today at all. Then she decided to eat the crackers I had packed in her lunch box for her school snack instead of her lunch, and I took those away. I'm just so tired of this attitude right now. She's not even coughing right now, and hasn't for the past hour, but if I were to take her back to school I know it would start right back up. I think she just doesn't want to be at school. :/ She's too young for doing that right? Pretending to be sick to get out of going to school?

I think so... Michael will throw a fit if I don't take him to school sick or not... If he complains about being sick and worries about going to school something is SERIOUSLY WRONG!!! Most kids are like that as far as I understand...
Is she acting like she isn't enjoying school or has she told you she has been being picked on or anything? Maybe talk to the teacher tomorrow... See if she could give you the what's up... I use to do the same things :/

Her cough started up again shortly after I posted. So I've been giving her benadryl in 4 hour intervals, and cough drops when she asks for them and she says her throat is starting to feel a lot better. So I'm guessing it's just sort of a come and go thing for right now. She hasn't complained about school at all, and in the morning when I told her she had to try to control her cough or she wouldn't be able to go to school she was almost in tears becasue she wanted to go. I dunno. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
Next week the twins start full day head start. I'm so hoping neither of them catch whatever it is she has...because by golly I could really use some relaxing me time before baby comes. He's already making it difficult to move around by his placement, and my hips are soooo sore. Sleeping hurts, walking hurts, sitting doesn't hurt, but getting up from sitting does, and I don't want to be sitting all the friggan time anyway. >.< I'm just feeling so overly stressed right now, with having Kura sick, and the twins being a pain and fighting with her for the 4 hours that they're all home before we pick up Scott from work these past couple of days...it's just so hard on me right now. I'm physically tired and emotionally drained. Scott says it's baby draining my energy so he has energy for birth. Baby needs to stop or I won't have the energy to push him out! xD That's not true, I'll find energy reserves for that. JOO ARE EVICTED!

I agree... My day wasn't bad yesterday but today is going to be bad :/
My mom has her court date today... She is pretty sure that they are going to find a verdict about her leg and spinal injury now... I am pretty sure they are going to screw her around some more... Target is good for that it would seem... I am going to have to watch her wards from 8 right after Mikes goes to school... To ?... I would so rather be home today... Then maybe I could clean some of my "social services nightmare" house >.>;
Just FYI it really isn't a social services nightmare... More like a disorganization fairies dream lol

I wish I had a cleaning fairy. xD
Your mom would probably call my house a social services nightmare too. >.> We still have stuff stashed away upstairs that I don't feel like dealing with. Eventually it will turn into a bit of a guest or tv room. But until then, it's storage! No one goes up there anyway...which is why I store presents/gift wrap/art supplies etc up there. It's a safe haven for all the stuff in the house taht doesn't have it's own place yet. Which I guess means it's my junk room? lol.
She doesn't have to pay anything for the court stuff does she? Target dragging this out is just going to make it cost them more in the end. They should settle and just give her the hefty chunk of money and be done with it!
hmmm lost a pound in a week. Slightly concerning, since last week I hadn't gained anything. The last 4-6 weeks of a pregnancy you're supposed to gain a pound(ish) a week. So far two weeks down and I've lost a pound. Baby is still moving around a lot and has a healthy heart rate and I'm measuring at almost 37 cm so growth for baby is good...but the lack of weight gain is concerning me. Not so much my doctor. She's happy with it since baby is still moving around as it should be etc. We'll see how it goes next week. I've been more active as of late so I think that may have something to do with it. But I've also noticed my legs being more swollen water wise, so that should be adding weight as well. Man, I'm totally looking forward to my body going back to normal in about a month. xD

Her lawyer took on the case Probono... So no she isn't paying anything as of yet... She cam home pretty wrecked because she didn't have any witnesses on her side and in workmans comp cases any legal documentation is NOT seen in the court itself... So EVERYTHING that was heard today was against her. Except her own testimony... And though my mom can be mouthy and uppity about things when push comes to shove she is calm, cool, collected, intelligent and VERY professional... And she knows that acting like an ass in court is just going to make you look bad... I am not entirely sure what the case was suppose to be for... I know she is fighting for Target to cover her medical bills for the rest of her life... As she is on several VERY strong... VERY expensive pain medications for life... And she is going to need a new knee cap every 10 years for the rest of her life (that alone is more then a $100k procedure and my mom is only in her 40's)... But she won't know the results for the next month and a half or so...
I wish I had an organization fairy.... 1/3 of the rooms I am using as storage at the moment is not really storage... It is paper clutter that I don't WANNA go through and sort into it's proper files and no it isn't an entire room the room itself is clean... Just the desk is cluttered <.<; stupid old bills and stuff >.>; I still don't understand why I have to keep em! The other room is full of toys... Baby clothes that don't fit anyone and maternity stuff... The toys need to be sorted OMG MY KIDS ARE SPOILED ROTTEN... And what the heck am I suppose to do with things like Maternity and baby clothes? SERIOUSLY I WANT TO KNOW... The other is where Jayden sleeps... And it is also where we are keeping a lot of our cleaning supplies... (not the best idea I know but I don't have many other options...)
Baby is fine Mellie don't worry so long as he continues his trapeze act on your uterus he is fine <3 he just demands more ice cream!

Yeah, since you're planning on having another keeping the maternity clothes and baby clothes is a good idea but finding somewhere to store it sucks. I think I'll be packing away my maternity clothes into a box and putting it into my closet for the next time. I sent all my baby clothes off to the good will or posted on craigslist when I was done with it though. >.>

I wish my dressers matched...xD Scotts dresser is chestnut and mine is dark cherry. >.> They don't look good together. He keeps saying he's going to put his dresser in his closet, but that makes me feel bad since it's like I'm shunning him out of the room. I have to figure out what I want to do with the kids dressers. Kuras is purple, and was mine when I was little, and she's been pretty hard on some of the corners, so not all the drawers are complete anymore...and the back is coming off kinda, but that's easy enough for me to fix with nails and a hammer.
Melody and Aaron share a dresser, and Melody needs her own. That child has waaaaaaay too much clothes. I have another dresser I could give Aaron, but the kids broke the bottom drawer beyond repair a year or so back, so it only has 3 drawers instead of 4... I'll deal with it when I switch their rooms around. Until then, what we have is what they're used to so it's not worth fighting. Yet.

I bought the boys dressers from a used furniture store for less then $50 bucks ^^ it has a six drawer dresser and a 4 drawer dresser... the six drawer has a mirror on in too... I think the set probably had a vanity at one time where the mirror probably came from... and they just added it to the dresser... XP
Anything I buy new breaks in less then a year... >.>

We bought my dresser new from Big Lots. Instead of the $1000+ a lot of the furniture places around here wanted for something like it we got it for $350. It makes me happy. Scotts was $100 from wal mart, and we shared that dresser for...4 years? >.< Neither of us had enough room in there for all our clothes, but we managed. Somehow.
The twins dresser was from a furniture place around here, got it for under $100 on clearance, it had a mirror, that they managed to shatter, so now we just have the mirror case for it. Eventually I'll put another mirror in there. Until then, I'm not going to bother with it. Kura has my old dresser from when I was growing up, and I have the 3 drawer chest that's supposed to be a 4 drawer chest holding the 5t+ clothes that Melody isn't wearing yet.

real wood. We looked into it first since I know the ply wood ones die in a matter of days. Our nightstands are the plywood knock offs though from wal mart. Both mine and Scotts are having issues with the bottom of the drawer wanting to fall out. And it sucks, because the stupid things we're like $50 each! D:

I like big lots, but you have to go back a few times to find what you're looking for sometimes. We'd gone looking at dresser... 4 times around town and in big lots but they only had lighter woods and we wanted dark woods for our room so one of the last times we went they had one that we liked, but it was $500, and more than we had to spend at the time and then there was the one that we eventually bought which was cheaper. But yeah, it takes time if you're going out there to find a good deal on things. At least, things that you're looking for.
