I guess it depends on what the cultural context is. If the country politics/personal feelings of individuals living there consider half Chinese (or less) still Chinese, then the Chinese population wouldn't decrease. I don't know how things like that work there, if there is any stigma, if it's expected, etc.

My cousins are half chinese...The only thing that sets them apart from the other chinese when they go visit relatives IN China is that they're about a foot taller than everyone else. (My uncle is almost 6'7" >.> and his wife a darling 5' 1" lol) This kids ages... 14 and 10? Something like that are both over 5 feet now. But they don't look much lighter than the rest of the population, their hair is just as dark they're just...taller.
But I've always been one to believe that a "half-race" should be counted as a full for both races since that's how they've been raised.
I'm a full blown mixed breed. ;) I'm that dog at the dog show that years ago people were like OMG unpure! And now they're like awwww what a cute little Puggle! (or insert name of favorite mixed breed dog)

Me too Mellie... Though most of my blood is of anglo decent.... Irish, German, Scottish, French >.>, but we are also a SMIDGE of Native American.... Michael is Asian... Not sure what kind but Asian none the less... He looks Mexican aside from he has my mother's curse... My dad had curly black hair my mom has curly sandy blonde... ALL of my brothers sister and I wound up with my mothers hair color and variances of wavy-curly hair but we all have a different shade of sandy blonde... Then boys are darker blondes and the girls are lighter lol..... Mikes has the same hair color and type as my youngest brother but he is DARK skinned and DEEEEP dark eyed.... Genetically since Michael's dad has black hair Mikes should have wound up with black hair... He would have gotten it from both sides since I am a walking recessive gene lol....Sean wound up with a lighter version of my mom's color... but it is coming in darker every time it is cut.... He is touched by his great grandma with his brown eyes but he didn't get his paternal grandmother's hair color or his daddies... He got his maternal grandmothers so far lol.... I love how random genetics can be :) Oh and Sean is Italian... Both the boys' dad's shared the other races with me though Mikes dad has less... I think he was German, Irish and Asian.... While Dillon and I have almost matching decent aside from Dillon having Italian and English in his blood...

My uncle got his bone marrow haplotypes done at one point. So for that side of the family this is what I have:
Quote:
The first one was England/Ireland/Wales. No surprise.
The second was Wales. Nice to see I have some Dylan Thomas in me. Do not go gently into that good night!
The third was Irish/English. I sense a theme.
The fourth was Irish/Scottish/German. Ah, there the Erb name kicks in.
The fifth was Italy (Sardinia). Someone came from an isolated island. Gramma Erb's side, I guess.
The sixth is the wild one. Peru/Mexico. So one of our ancestors must have travelled from Spain and went off to Great Britain at some point.

copy/pasta'd straight from the email he sent me ;) Because I save interesting things like that...
I have no idea about anything from my moms side. I know we're french by her last name, and I know that there is a Wine company in France that is still making wine under their last name. But other than that, I got nothing. xD

I am really into family history... While we were first deciding of Princess Cartwheel's name we called my mother who went though at LEAST 30 generations of names with me.... Mostly Bridget's and Mary's though there was a pretty name that started with a "Ph" that I am trying to remember now so I can see how it fits with the first name we have picked.... Hrmmmm For some reason Popeye's Girlfriend is coming to mind.... What the heck was HER name!!!

You call her Princess Cartwheel? So her face was really in the picture?
I have a huge binder of my family tree ending with me, and dating back to 800 AD. :D I'm a direct descendant of some dude called Littleberry...talk about a feminine name!
Her name was Olive Oil.

Ok so that wasn't the name I thought is was :/
She is nicknamed princess cartwheel cause when she is moving it doesn't feel like kicking... It feels like she is doing cartwheels with streamers or something... It is weird compared to the boys fluttery kicks... And no it wasn't her face just part of her surroundings lol... Her face was too away to see in that picture lol... Tami had a lot of trouble getting a picture of her face direct on because of where she is positioned... She is (well was I suppose) head down but DEEP in my pelvis and against my back... Which explains the debilitation pain she causes me when I have to stand from a sitting or laying position :( She is going to sit on my siatic nerve when she is bigger I know it and I DON'T look forward to it... Her real name is Elizabeth though...

You're gonna name her Elizabeth!? What a gorgeous name! And it's such a strong name. :D
My younger sisters are Anna Elizabeth and Chloe Isabella... my step mum thought 'Isabella' was a very uncommon and unique name... three years ago. -_- Clearly, she knew NOTHING of what names were popular when my sister was born.//
By any chance was the name you were thinking (the one starting with Ph) Phillipa?

People I know personally... I asked them to stop, and they wouldn't so I've blocked them from contacting me online. I'm just afraid they'll try to contact me other ways, as they know where I live and live in the next town over.

Not really sure.... If it seems like they are seeking you out for whatever reason I'd say go to the cops... But right now there isn't a whole lot you can do legally... If it was work it might have been a little easier to deal with but that is a tough situation...

If you're concerned for your safety, go to the cops and let them know of the situation. Like Jaz said, if it were work-related it might be easier to deal with.
