Schedule changes like that would indeed make things more stressful. I need to work harder on scheduling here. I've just sort of been flying by the seat of my pants with everything. Sometimes we have dinner at 5, sometimes at 7. Things like that. :x

We eat late dinners because Dillon gets home at 7:30PM... :/ well closer to 7:45PM but the boys start eating at 7/7:30.... I need to break that habit it's been working because of the summer but man summer is going to be over.... I'll probably start the tacos here in 30 or so minutes.... Since I actually had a plan prior to lunch today and wasn't flying by the seat of my pants lol... :P I started doing menus but fell out of it really quickly again and don't know why really O_o;;

I feel better after painting though I fought Sean for over an hour to take a nap... 10 minutes more of him not sleeping I would have had to deal with an exhausted preschooler for the rest of the night because he wouldn't go to bed at bedtime otherwise.... I HATE HATE HATE this school schedule already and I haven't even started it... Sean needs a nap sometime in the day and he won't sleep in the morning... Maybe I should try a before lunch nap... He's fallen asleep at 11ish several times before I wonder if that will work..... But anyhow painting went well... It was soothing :)

Big fluffy slippers sound waaaay more comfy then these flip flops my feeties are swollen.... I should also change into some sweats or yoga pants my belly hurts from these maternity shorts :(

Maternity bottoms are a waste of money, and most of the tops make me itchy. Scotts clothes + yoga/pj pants ftw! lol.

I'm tired of late dinners. And if the flying by the seat of your pants works, by all means continue it! I'm just annoyed because I'm a scheduling person and I know that if my kids aren't in bed by 8:30 that it will be pulling teeth to get them up in the mornings! And I very much dislike pulling teeth!
So Kindergarten starts at 10:30 for the afternoon session and ends at 2:10. 1st grade starts at 8:00 and ends at 2:10...but there are no naps. So when I get the kids, they're all cranky and angry even though their teachers swear they had an awesome day. So I'm just like...hot damn these kids still need naps! I really miss nap time.

2:10 is still early though.... The boys will both be getting out of school at 3:10... Naptime is almost a complete oust by that time... Though Mikes doesn't need a nap MOST days... Sean's only 3 and turns into an evil cranky little butt head without a nap :O

Dillon's pants aren't big enough... :( and they are waaaaaay too long... I wish I could find yoga pants that don't show off my crazy huge butt O_O;;

haha I wore his shirts. His pants have always been too small for me, with the exception of before I got pregnant with the twins. Kids got like a 30 inch waist. and mine is more like 36. I think, Its been a while since I measured...and to be honest I don't really want to again. >.> But his have a good length.

It's too late for a nap though. If I put them down then they would sleep until 5 and then not sleep at all for nighttime. So I just forgo it and deal with really cranky children.

So don't let them sleep the full nap? With Sean I've been laying him down between 2:30 and 3 trying to push it back to 3/3:30 and only letting him nap an hour... He wake up cranky quite often but less cranky then if I don't let him nap at all....... I am thinking the 11AM nap may work better though and I can let him sleep 1.5 ish hours before school... The only problem I can see is that Dill goes to work at 11... So he is going to be forced to ride his bike a LOT more... Or else that will interfere with nap too ><;; This school system is so f-ed up.... ><

Dillon is a 36 waist when he isn't on the college diet... And his wife feeds him pretty well... He'd be a 30 if she didn't feed him... ROFL... I am normally between a 32-34... In men's... Big hips and all that @[email protected]

So OMG... I got dinner done by 6:30 Michael cleared the table wiped his and Sean's spots (his chore) and swept the floor under his and Sean's spots (another chore after each meal) and he did the dishes from dinner (his chore two times a week) minus pot and pans since Dillon hadn't eaten yet... While Mikes was doing dishes I got Sean bathed and ready for bed and started a short Little People tape for him so Mikes could finish dishes and bathe as well... It is 7:54PM and both are bathed and dishes are done (minus pans) and OMG my house doesn't look like a crazy lady's lived here all her life!!!! YAY

too bad my mood kind of got dampered by finding that SOMEONE got into my DS that was charging and strew DS games EVERYWHERE in the livingroom.... :( but it wasn't TOO dampered...

At least it was just a bunch of strewn about games...and not them taking a scratch board pen and using it as a stylus. /sad my DS has deep scratches on it's screen still.

If I wake them in the middle of nap time I get hell for it by all 3 of them. They behave better with out a nap than they do with a partial one. I'm not opening those gates to hell again. xD

Each child is different. Mine barely naps, period. But she rarely slept in my belly, too. I think it's just her. >.>

Mmm, cleaning time today!

lol, maybe that's why...I have time during the day while they're at school. ^^;; I get me time again! At first I was wondering since my mom was going to be getting off work when the twins went to school, but it turns out she does the lunch stuff at another school so I still have time to myself! It makes me happy. not that I don't like spending time with my mom etc, it's just...damn it sometimes I want alone time. <3

Chi- mine too. Lol. I started cleaning today. Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming...the downstairs. Theres so much more to do upstairs...I'm scared to get started!

I am going to have alone time coming here really soon! between 12:20 and 3:00ish PM until Ellie is born in November! I am not sure I will know what to do with myself... Probably clean uninhibited since the boys make cleaning and AWFUL chore... And Ellie will be pressing the "nesting buttons" she pressed them a couple of times already but I am hoping she presses them more frequently cause OMG I hate cleaning... :P

My house isn't a disaster but it isn't great right now... And both boys are awake and wired since I opted ot nap while Sean napped... :/ aww fun fun....

I had to clean the playroom twice, as Terra decided to "help". :lol:

We're not doing heavy duty cleaning like the place needs, but we're making it presentable for her party. We'd rather do the heavy stuff (floor scrubbing for example) after people come and leave a mess.

But the little stuff was already ridiculously piled up due to our schedules being so crammed with summer term.

I am trying to make headway on our clutter right now... I also need to work on the boys school uniforms and closet O_o I don't wanna look at their closet... Last time I did I found TONS of clothes shoved in there on the floor none which could I decide whether they were clean or dirty :( But I need to make room for their uniforms and make them easier to access for them... :/ so I need to move summer clothes to the dressers...

The bathroom needs a good cleaning (that always gets cleaned regardless of clutter), but we're about ready for company otherwise! I have some steak thinly sliced and marinating for stir-fry, but I have to wait for the dishwasher to finish cycling before I can actually make headway on cooking. We have a portable one that hooks up to the faucet.

I am making beer batter fish... Uhm so I am just COOKING bear batter fish since I have a couple left in the box >.>;; /lazy and I have the dough rising for bread rolls as well... Other then that it is just mac n cheese and veggies... I'm thinking corn or green beans... My bathrooms are always being cleaned even if the rest of the house is a mess... I think the longest they have ever gone without cleaning was a Mexican Stand off Between me and Dillon when I told him to clean them and he didn't for like a month (even then I was spot cleaning things like the shower and toilet all the time >.>) >.>;; kitchen is always being cleaned as well...

OMG MELLIE I TOTALLY SQEEEEED AT YOUR CHOICE FOR THE THIRD DIPE YOU BOUGHT!!! I just got it today it was the pink poke-a-dotted one by Blueberry!!! <3 I didn't specify it because I like little surprises and cause I know I'll be investing in more Blueberries because they will last her from the time she is about 10lbs to the time she is 30lbs I think but I LOVE poke-a-dots!

Beer battered fish sounds yummy. We make chicken tenders from scratch with that sort of crispy-puffy coating. :drool:

Mexican Stand Offs here never work. It was always over cleaning. When we first got together in 2006, we were in a small apartment. Then in 2007 a bigger apartment in the same building opened up, so we took it (as we were trying to conceive). That one had two bathrooms, so I told him he was in charge of his.

Now we're back to one bathroom, but we're fine. I dunno what changed. o.o

I tell Dillon to do something and USUALLY it happens 3 days later... Maybe I just need to get better at telling him 3 days in advance?

lol Jazzy. You're so cute. xD

You just need to learn to pester better. Scottie doesn't really get an option to wait more than a day before I kick his butt into doing what I told him to. Because with 3 kids undertow ALL DAY I need help from him when he comes home. The bathroom needs to be cleaned/the livingroom vacuumed/whatever I want him to do. Learn to work that man like polymer clay. It can take some time to warm it up into a pliable dough, but after that initial work through you can pretty much get it to do whatever you need.
I actually used guilt to get Scott to do it. >.> I believe tears were involved the first time...but it's saved me from so much hassle. Like I know that you're not supposed to use tears as a weapon, but they're sooooo productive.

My husband's rocking it today. He's cleaning the bathroom and getting a lot of things prepped. I feel a bit guilty, truthfully. :sweat: Though I guess it was his turn to clean the kitchen anyway..

I literally woke up snapping at Dillon this morning... He took the spare blanket that I normally sleep under so I was cold all night... There was a blanket under me but when I finally got it out from under me I couldn't get my body pillow under me so my knees felt like they were crushing each other and my pelvis felt like it was going to collapse... Then Dillon has to donate plasma today so he needed to get up and left the alarm set for like 6AM and it went off and he didn't get up >.>;; so I gave up and came and sat in the rocking chair.... And of course THAT wakes him and he came to see what was wrong with me :/ now he is all pouty and I am still pissy, its a great start to our fifth year together! :/

lol. What kind of jerk steals a blanket from a pregnant woman in the first place!? You have every right to be annoyed. (Happy 5th by the way! The day will get better and you know it)

I'd say Scotts been rocking it today too, because he vacuumed his room and such, but really that does me no good since ya know he's in Kodiak and stuff. He said he cleaned his bathroom too. :P But I have no way of knowing if this is true or not. lol

My moms leaving for a while today. She's going down to San Diego to have my brother look at her computer. And TBH I'm quite happy about it. I get to have the house to myself (+the kiddos). No longer will I feel like I'm being judged!

I got into a fight with my mom last night too. She's been criticizing Kuras outfits and hiding some of her clothes so she can't wear certain things together. There was a white shirt with black polka dots that she wanted to wear with the pink skirt with the heart pattern that I made for her and my mom forbid it then hid the shirt. Apparently my mom thinks it's embarassing to be seen with Kura when she's dressed like that...which is odd since my mom has never been seen with her around the school etc. :/ So I was pissed and like Dude, she's my daughter how she dresses doesn't matter as long as she's happy. I want her to feel comfortable in whatever she wants to wear. So being my predictable mother she said not under her roof. /sigh. I soooo need to get out of here. One more month. One more month. I can survive another month right?

It's times like these I really miss my house.

It already has... He made pancakes to apologize for the blanket and me waking up so cranky.... And then let me go back to sleep cause I slept so poorly... I just got up again.... LOL.... He also packed the overnight bags for the boys who are going to be staying the night with my mom and sister. Now he is gone though... He went to donate... (why is it called donating when he gets money... So I guess "sell") his plasma... And I am going to shower and paint my toes if I can.... I filed them a bit this morning and it took quite a while Ellie bellie is in the way....

I couldn't live with my mother for those exact reasons... The boys don't really dress in girls clothes but they do play with girls toys... And my mom would take them... What you described sounds better then Pink on pink on pink I see girls in this town wear.... All the pinks being different shades O_o I'd so rather funky pattern clashes... Though I will more then likely do what I do to the boys (and Dillon who dresses the boys quite often) if an outfit becomes a problem... I match it up with something and hang/ store it together with the matching shirt... Mostly it is camo shorts the boys and Dillon have issues with... Sean is wearing a pair of hunter camo overalls today... think THIS... Dillon likes to pair it with BRIGHT blue and BRIGHT green shirts.... Awww I love his taste (or lack there of) in clothing XD.... He dressed him in a black shirt today though... And Mikes has similar problems with wanting to wear white and white or camo with bright colors ><;
