You mean you don't have twist off nipples? lol.
That's funny though...I don't think I ever did that to mine. (er with teh bottle, since I don't have twist off nipples either. )

Nope can't say that I do :P Yeah I found that out with Mikes I think... It trips them out when they fall asleep to spin the bottle in their mouth... /evil mom... I showed it to Dillon... Ellie is finished already... So I may have to try to boob her again... Cause she is still fussing...

I know I don't have to remind you, but the mother in me won't let me post with out it: Don't forget to burp her before starting!
I hope it goes well and you're able to get that girly to chunk up so you worry less.

Dillon did it for me :D she burped like a trucker... Then he changed her and handed her to me... She nursed for a few minutes then got overwhelmed **evil let down from hell** I tried to burp her again and she decided she was content on my chest where she just proceeded to soil herself again and burp on her own... Silly baby....
I go in for another weight check on monday... Pray she broke the 7lb mark... She'll have another on Thu or Fri too cause the lactation consultant is worried too...

I love reading this thread. It makes me wish I could have kids, but alas, I can't. I have a chromosomal abnormality that caused my reproductive organs to not develop in the womb. I do have an ovary, so maybe surrogacy could be a choice for me so I can have my own biological child. I'll adopt a couple of kids, too.

Dana- So long as your ovary produces eggs you should be good to go for surrogacy. While it can be pricey some insurances will cover most if not all of the costs.
My aunt is unable to have children due to cancer, so she and my uncle adopted two little girls. They're so sweet and cute! I love how many ways there are around "traditional" families these days. Adoption is a good alternative.

Melody - I know. It's so amazing in today's world. I'd just be happy to have one biological child with my husband if I ever get married. I'm in no rush to settle down. I don't even have a boyfriend. I haven't had a boyfriend in a few months. It does suck.

Dana, that must be difficult to live with. I think adoption and/or surrogacy are excellent options. Children, no matter how parents become parents, are such gifts.
Jaz, I'm glad the baby is back up to her birth weight!
Side note? I got my boba milk drink kit today. Score! *sips cappuccino drink*

I learned about it when I was sixteen and I'm twenty-two now. I'm considering having surgery to create a vagina so I can be somewhat normal. I look totally normal on the outside. My labial folds are there and all my hormones are right where they're supposed to be. I'm curvy, but I can't really gain weight, so I'm just under one hundred pounds.

If it's not too forward to ask, do you mean you have an external vagina without an internal? Plus an ovary and applicable hormones, right?
How tall are you? My hormones went the other way. I'm quite heavy set and no matter how much I calorie count I pretty much stay the same. Meh. I suppose so long as I feel healthy that's something. :b

Exactly. I'm 5'1". I eat very healthy and I rarely eat fast food. I guess it's just how my body is. I just wish I was normal, but I guess God has a plan for me.

I think we all have plans, and some of us have larger hurdles than others. If I were in your position I would also be debating whether or not to have surgery. There are understanding partners out there who wouldn't mind not having an internal vagina. Sex can be plenty fun without the whole rigamarole, too!
Just remember, there is no real "normal", be it physically, mentally, emotionally, etc. We're all different in our own ways. :3

Naptime strike from all three kids JEEZ...
Wait you can't have sex without an internal vagina? I am pretty sure my mom had all of her girly parts removed because her bladder crushed them... And I KNOW she has had sex since... O_o;;

If there's no area for a penis to go into, there is no vaginal intercourse. There are plenty of other ways to have sex though. :b
My inner child has been fostered. Who got adult-sized footy pajamas, with frogs everywhere for Christmas? This girl! D:

I have big red footy pajamas... :D I want ones with characters on them :P
Ellie keeps rejecting the bottle :P She's ornery the second I give her the boob though she's all over it... Guess it is safe to say she isn't confused about nipples anymore but she is quite particular about which she prefers! :P

Haha... Terra did the same. After the two or three days of confusion and refusing of the breast, she took it back and wouldn't let go. I think we may have had an advantage as she was on soy formula that tasted awful. She preferred the taste of my milk. She'd nurse, then I would pump after she nursed while she had her supplement, then she'd get that milk later on.
I swear the first six months were just me feeding her. x_x

I have light blue footy pajamas...with duckies on them. xD
So we've rented out the house in NC. There's a problem going on with the master bathroom floor and the repair guy refuses to talk to me about it even though I've sent him emails and attempted to call him. He just calls back Scott, who never answers his phone. I'm the one taking care of all the housing responsibilities etc. This guys sexism is really starting to piss me off. I finally got an email from him today, so I called and left a message on both his work voice mail and cell phone voice mail (because answering your phone is a huge no-no apparently!) In any case I get off the phone and I'm just like UUUUUGH! Why am I so angry!
Scott just looks at me and goes "It's because you're pregnant" and then continues playing Zelda.
For the record, we had a lot of sexism issues in NC. People who we were paying, that I hired to work on the house, refused to enter the house unless Scott was present. They wouldn't let me sign papers, or talk to supervisors, because that was the mans job.
Uh no. In this relationship right now the mans job is to work and my job is to take care of the rest of the day to day stupidness that needs to be done. Be it dishes, shopping, ordering random oriental items we can't find elsewhere, or getting quotes to fix whatever needs to be fixed in the house. I don't see why he should have to work at work, and then come home and deal with idiots just because I don't have a penis!
And I totally agree with Chi. Sex can be fun even with out traditional intercourse. ;D

I have done my research and I probably will want to have the surgery in the future. My mom got all her female parts removed besides her vagina and I don't even know if my parents still have sex. They don't really like talking about sex, so I just leave it alone.

Chances are if they're still together they still have sex.
Though I know the last 6 years of my parents marriage was sex-less. And I only know this because my dad sited it in the divorce papers as one of his reasons for divorce. Maybe if you cared more and showed affection she'd be more open to it eh?
But other than that bit in the divorce papers I knew nothing of my parents lives outside of us kids. They never talked about sex, money, drugs, alcohol etc. It's amazing we all turned out as good as we did! lol.
Dana- I say it's your body do as you like with it. So long as you're doing it because it would make you happy.

My parents have been married for twenty-six years and they have my brother, who's twenty-five, and me, who's twenty-two. I've only been to the OB/GYN once and my mom's saying I can't have the surgery because the doctor said so, but she tends to hear only one thing and get stuck on it. I say that I have to have an implant to help with my bladder before I can get the surgery to create a vagina.
I like older guys because they have more experience with women and know how to please them. This guy I'm talking to online is twenty-seven and he doesn't care that I don't have a vagina and he said he would support me, no matter what I decide to do.
