Can you have fat hair? haha. Who cares about fat seriously?
Llonka- If they're not worried, I wouldn't worry. (Easier said than done, I know). Did they give you things to watch for? I remember hearing that sometimes the IUD will expel itself and you'll just need to pluck it up and take it back to your GYN and they will reinsert it. No Biggie. (:

@llonka
I wouldn't have another one again, either.
Are you in any pain? I bled with mine, sometimes sporadically. How long have you had it? My bleeding went out of control around... hmm... I want to say two years after insertion? I got it in July 2004 and had it out by 2007 I think. It's hard to remember when.
If you're not in pain, hang in there. Have you checked to make sure you can feel the two strings? If one seems shorter than the other, you may need to get checked out. Though seriously, if you're not in pain, it's probably not crooked. You'd know it if something were stabbing your inner uterus!

I'm glad she's doing better. :3
Man, today's play date sucked. I went to another friend's house with a bunch of people I didn't know, and it was a mistake. It wasn't for the kids. It was for the moms. And the kids were rotten to each other. Without parental guidance. Never again.

I hate mom play dates...especially when you don't know the other people and they talk about more people that you don't know or celebrities that you don't care about it and just becomes a game of sitting there nodding while checking your watch or hoping your child has a fit so you have an excuse to leave.
What's that...? Oh I think I left the oven on! Ta-ta! :P

That's exactly what it was. I knew a lot of the people in high school, though seeing them today wasn't fun. I don't know if everyone was just having a bad day or what, but kids were yelled at, whenever they wanted a hug it was given begrudgingly or with an over-exasperated sigh and "can't you just go play?"
And do you think any one of those brats could share? Terra was the only one. :s There was ONE toy she was dying to play with and the other kid refused. After an hour of hogging it, shouldn't it be okay to share? She waited until he ate lunch, and when he saw she had it, he stopped eating, yelled at her, and grabbed it back.
The kid's four or five. Mine is 16 months and more mature. Never once did she pitch a fit, cry or fuss. She just sort of stared blankly.
And dejectedly.
And my heart may have broken just a little. Hope to hell this isn't a sign of how I handle the pain she receives, you know, growing up. Because she'll never get hurt. Yeaaaaaaaaah...

Chi - Nope, no pain, and just spotting now. I got it June 2008. I could feel A string, didn't notice if was two or not. hmm...
so what kind of birth control can you get that easy to use, and can't forget to take every day? lol!
Aww we don't go to play dates. mostly because i don't like to interact with other parents. :P like at jacob's sports, hubby and i stick to ourselves and our family. jacob is the same way. well most of the time.

Before hubby was fixed I used the nuvaring. It's still a monthly period but it's not an every day thing. :3
Some parents suck Chi. At least now you won't be bothered to go to any of their playdates from now on. You went so you won't be wondering if it would have been a good time or not. Which is how I feel about some things that I decide against doing.

There's the depo shot.... It has a side effect of weight gain though...
I don't do play dates because A. I'm a scaredy cat and don't like doing things out of the ordinary... B. The parents are snooty and I don't clash well with people who feel they are better then me for whatever reason... Or C. I am the only one watching or caring for the kids (this on plain pisses me off....)...
I yell at my kids... >.>; not like all the time or anything but I do yell at them...
Today's been quite the trial...... :/ Sean pooped his pants at the store not a lot he just didn't tell me fast enough I think... :/ I got a call from Michael's teacher he's been misbehaving all day... Sean hit Ellie in the car while I was trying to get around to buckle him in... Then Sean hit Michael with a truck when we got home....
the good news is though Dillon got his W-2

wow what a crazy day for you Jaz! I yell at mine too. >.> seems like they don't listen if you don't! Congrats on getting his W-2! Jeremy says he will get his on the 30th.
hmm i don't think i'm too keen on the depo shot. i think when we get our tax money back, i'll make an appointment to get a pap done, and tell them i'm done with the Mierna, and lets do something else. I may go for the Nuva ring. i think i could remember a monthly thing. The nuva ring website even has a little thing you can download and helps you remember to change it. i'm on the computer a lot, so i think it would help me out. (and if we have an accident, :ninja:, i won't have to worry about going to get something taken out. hopefully we don't though. lol!!)
what do you girls do when your kids get fevers? i knew Kaleb wasn't feeling well, but didn't realize it was that bad. about 5:00 he had a fever of 103.9. I gave him some ibuprofen and it's down to 101 now. so scary when they get a fever like that. :( Sent Jeremy after some more ibuprofen and tylanol so i can alternate every two hours or so. that's what the hospital told me one time Jacob had a 104 fever. :P

Terra's only had a fever a couple times, but I just monitored her every hour or so, to make sure the Baby Advil was working. I think the best advice to give would be if after you give him medicine and the fever doesn't go down, take him to the ER. Almost 104 is scary. :(

A cool washcloth to the forhead works wonders when the temperature is that high. You switch it out for a new one every couple hours or so.

Yay!!
cause i need to complain somewhere about people and baby showers.
I live in a small apartment currently, so I was only adding necessities that are smaller to my registry.
My friend looked at the registry, than called me to get my mailing address as she was buying something. And said something along the lines of this.
"I looked at the registry, and this wasn't on the list! So i bought it for you :D"
ummm.... -facepalm-
than i gave everyone one rule, no pink... -second facepalm- They bought a 100 dollar frilly tutu prom dress COMPLETELY in pink and sparkly...

I love the new haircut. It frames your face beautifully! :)
Baby showers... ah yes, the "here is what's on my list" versus "we've gotten you everything but what's on your list" dilemma. My husband's side of the family is notorious for asking for lists when they don't follow it at all. I don't mind in the sense that a gift is a gift and should be appreciated, but don't ask me to take the time to write a list and get my hopes up.
My baby shower was planned, by me, and my mother got drunk in the middle of it. "Nuff said.
