Chi- You're awesome. My God-mother told me once, that no matter what, as long as you have a happy healthy baby at the end of the day, you're doing your job right. The dishes can be in disarray, the house can be cluttered, laundry un-done and your body unwashed. So long as baby is taken care of you're doing it right.
Actually, I guess that goes for all of us.

I swore I wouldn't become one of those mothers that don't shower for 3 days...but after my first was born I never felt I had the time. It was baby 24/7 if she needed me, I was there. When she slept, I slept. I couldn't manage any other way. I'd bathe her, but you don't bathe newborns daily. It drys out their skin, after a while I got a little baby shower chair like thing for her and put her at the far end of the tub while I showered at the other side. I was so afraid of getting soap in her eyes... it was hard. lol. I became one of those moms. xD After hubby got back from deployment he would take her for the 5 minutes it took me to shower, luckily he never complained of any odors before hand. :lol: Hubby is such a sweety-pie.

Jazzy- It's your house, he's your brother, you need to put your foot down. Even if he was Dillons brother, your foot would still have to go down because you're home the most. You know what needs doing and when it needs to be done. Poke, prod, remove cables that are distracting him, you can not be super mom right now, you need to be super nurser and mom. He should be helping out. Tell him what's what. In the mornings he needs to do the dishes and sweep the kitchen. After the kiddos go down he needs to vacuum the living room and clear away any un-necessary clutter. It's not like these things would take him more than 20 minutes to complete. He needs to help. period. (.) haha. it looks like a boob.
/goes to do dishes...and maybe take a nap.

i used to worry about the sacrifices i'd be making, but this face always makes 'doing it right' worth it. you're so spot-on, melody!

Mellie I know I need to get on him. :'( I need to stop being such a pansy and set up a chore list that he needs to follow. Especially cause he leaves and leaves things that I do ask undone... I mentioned the dishes like 30 times through out the day and left for almost 3 hours and came back to find nothing had moved. :/

I am tired and feel really drained. My lil boobface has been napping for said 3ish hours and is now starting to stir. **sigh**

two boys and a girl :P Elizabeth is 11 weeks. She wasn't wearing something super girly that day. At least not from that angle and the picture in my sig is of her Christmas PJ so it is pretty gender neutral too... Plus she looks a ton like her brother poor girl.... But yeah she is all girl.... She is currently eating her dress she likes the taste of gray lol.... My oldest Michael is 7.5 years and my middle child Sean is 3.5 years old...

I already rambled about financial concerns and how I feel I "need" to go back to work. I believe in signs. My peer came into class tonight asking if one of us would be interested working part-time at their agency. She said the words "flexible hours", up to 20 but not needing to be 20 if it didn't work for the worker. o_o

$12-13 an hour. I emailed the contact she gave me, and I'll look into it. I just need to be careful and make sure Terra wouldn't lose her free care, as I think the only benefits included in the 20 hours is sick/vacation pay.
