We are always cleaning it seems like LOL...

I found a decent deal on the type of diapers Ellie (and Liam will) use. And I am struggling with whether I want to purchase them with what FINALLY came through from my sales on Ebay. It is 3 diapers, for $41 with a wet bag (for icky soileds on the go bag) added for free! But I can't determine how to specify the closure preference. I HATE Velcro! So I want snap closures. But I can't find how to request it. It doesn't specify whether or not it is either or! This will be Ellie's underware present :P she needs new diapers soooo bad! Hers are just wearing out.

We are! @[email protected] That's the sad thing. I think with kids, dirt just comes naturally. Since getting the guinea pigs we need to vacuum more, and if we don't, the shavings somehow make it upstairs (socks).

Diaper dilemma! I'm so bad with laundry that I couldn't cloth. That, and we have to pay $3 just to do a load of laundry (not including costs of detergent). Not feasible, if we had another little one. I do so want another little one.

I have been bad with laundry in the past. Funny since it is one of my favorite chores (I'm odd I know) with Sean when he was in cloth diapers we had to use a laundry mat and we used the non high efficiency washers which were 1.50 a load but we had to run the load 3 times to ensure soap rinsed and such. But we did his diapers only once a week. we still wound up saving tons of money on it. But yeah. I was bad with getting to the laundromat on time and one summer day I had waited an extra day or two to do his diapers only to find them covered in mold O_O; So bad too that the mold was actually eating through some of the diapers. Needless to say they were trashed and we "restarted our diaper stash with Ellie. But her diapers have been being used steadily for 2 years now and I am impatient/ don't have enough covers to hang dry most days so they wore out a little quicker then they normally would because I run the lamenents through the drier which if you want to conserve life of a diaper you hang dry except 1-2 times a month when you use the dryer to reseal lamenents! I am rough on our diapers Most people have a larger stash which means each individual diaper sees use less. we have bare minimum (less now that we had to remove some of our diapers due to lamanent issues) so they wear out less. Anyhow cloth diapering has made me better at laundry. I pay more attention to how long it has been since I've done one thing or another. And honestly I like doing it! I would have drown under diaper costs with Ellie there were MANY times we couldn't afford even a small bag of disposables. And with two who are potentially going to be in diapers at the same time there is NO way we'd be able to do it!

We did pick up the diapers after calling the company (lordy I love customer service at cloth diaper companies they are usually small businesses and they are always so nice) I guess it was a mistype when the item was placed on the website and it only comes in snap options! YAY! I found an even better price a few weeks ago on flip diapers but they were hook and loop closure only ICK! So Ellie will be getting a 3 new pattern (one black one yellow and one blue) cloth diapers and a blue wet bag from us for Christmas YAY!

I need to get up off my duff soon. Dillon has made breakfast and it is almost 9:30 O_o and I am not even dressed o.O

I think if we have another baby someday, I'll give it a shot. My full intention is to wait until we have a house and know I could take 2 years off from work. Ideally I would go back to work around 18 months, but I want some extra time "just in case". If we play our cards right, we should have a home within four years I would think. I also don't mind if I work that final year while being pregnant, so... if we could swing it, I'd try getting pregnant three years from now.

It's nice to think about even if it scares the crap out of Cole. ;D

I've been at work for 3 hours and have accomplished next to nothing! Agugh.

Cloth disappearing is addictive though pricy to begin. You live on the East coast though right? You would have cheaper options by possibly being able to go into stores that sale rather then having to order online thus avoiding shipping cost Honestly there are stores here too but they are 45+ minutes away and I don't like driving either! Lol...

I need to take the kids to the store why am I still not moving

One Size Cloth Diapers at Maine Cloth Diaper Co.

How are the prices in comparison to what you see around? I keep thinking I read a while ago about a small business that hand makes clothies... I think it's BooBearBuns? I couldn't find prices, though admittedly I'm not looking hard. I just got told it's time to go home, so I'm off to grocery shop! :)

See you in a bit. I hope the store trip goes well!

They are about a $1-2 more expensive then just buying flips covers BUT they come with inserts which none of the ones I buy do so that is a fairly food deal.lol The swaddlebees (aka blueberries) are about $4 more then the covers I buy from the same brands which isn't bad because I think it said they were all in one) meaning no inserts but also meaning longer dry times too. I have only ever used one WAHM diaper and she was new at making them. They were terrible. That of course does not mean they all are so don't get that impression! From what I see in town and out WAHM diapers run between $16-25 and are USUALLY pocket diapers or all in one diapers not like diaper covers like we use. I can't usually justify more then $15 per diaper and I also don't like synthetic materials as they seem to hold onto smells and wear out faster. Just my experience though. Lots of people love microfiber.

Err.... I haven't done much yet but I just got Ellie down though after getting a call on our entertainment center. Hopefully it sells on less big thing taking up space with no apparent purpose. I had a really stupid melt down over breakfast and it made Dillon leaving for work really hard :( so I am trying to rebuild my good mood now which was hard with Ellie being little miss pistol pants today. She has been a wild child o.O

I'll likely come to you if and when we have another. Gotta save up lots of money first though!

I grocery shopped and got home, promptly getting soulcrushed by the mail. I finally heard back from the state regarding my major examination, and they took nearly ten weeks to tell me that it's done incorrectly. I keep telling myself that waiting two more months isn't the end of the world, but I am just... there's a lot of reasons why. The family business is difficult. It's work I hate. To boot, we lose our medical insurance January 1st. If I don't have a medical plan, then we have to pay $800 a month. That is not a typo. I need a job in my field, and until I get this examination done AND passed, it's unlikely.

But, I'm going to just breathe. I can't change anything about this, so I'll do the edits tonight and get it all in the mail tomorrow morning. That's the only thing I can do--12 hour response to the edits. That's my control.

What got you upset at breakfast? :(

I've been entering contests all day in hopes of winning some cloth diapers and I can't do this one mobile- y :(
Bumgenius Chelsea Perry Artist Series Cloth Diapers – Giveaway (12/13) but those are what Ellie is getting for Christmas. Just one pack not 4

---------- Post added 11-29-2013 at 01:24 PM ----------

So you didn't pass a test or you didn't get the results? Can you pester them?

As for breakfast it is stupid hormones. It started with coffee Michael keeps insisting on making coffee and he doesn't make enough in the pot.. so I finished my second cup and asked for my third and dill tells me there is no more and hands me my medicine to take with the last coffee ground laden mouth full of what was in my cup... Then Dillon made some of the frozen breakfast burritos in the oven because we are out of milk. I wasn't aware of what he was making but hearing the oven shut I got my hopes up thinking breakfast would be biscuits and gravy. When he told it was burritos I got a little down but not bad I started saying something along the lines of "mmm with green chili?" Only to remember we are out of green chili too. So he says we are but we have salsa and cheese I can shred if you want. I say I want cheese but nothing about the salsa. So when he brings it to me it just has cheese on it and it was the next pitfall where I felt like I was just going to be loaded about breakfast. I take a bite and I literally have to scrape it back down my mouth because it has dried out so much in the process of being frozen and then baked. Mind you it tastes good it is just dry. So I ask for salsa. I am already angry by this point, I didn't get ANYTHING I hoped for or wanted. Everything was just partial. So I stopped eating after a few bites and gave it to Dillon and said forget breakfast.... I was being a spoiled brat and I know it. I hate the end of the month we are always out of everything we can't afford to get more. It just sucks.

I'll be going to the store later to use the card our friend gave us to pick up essentials which posses me off because I was hoping to use it for a few small Christmas gifts not to buy food that should have lasted us until we were able to buy more. I also have to pay bills which is irritating on its own

Nah... The one I posted about on FB was the one I passed. That was to make me a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. The one I have left to take is the NCE, which will make me a Clinical Professional Counselor--the thing I want to do, and the license that has the job opportunities. After I graduated, I had to complete a 30-50 page application JUST to be ABLE to take the NCE.

I mailed it off in September with almost $300, and only today did they get back to me saying it's done incorrectly. November. Hell, you might as well call it December now. So, I can't take the exam until I fix the application errors and hear back from the state again. IF it's done correctly, THEN I pay more money to the NBCC to sit for the NCE. If I pass the NCE, then I become licensed.

It's a mouthful. Point being, the State of ME was so, so, so, so slow to get a response out to me that right now I'm just sad. They were quick to take my money in September, yet... (And I pestered them multiple times.)

Aww. I don't think it's anything to do with being a "spoiled brat". It's disappointing to have so many downers all in a row!!

I love how my kindle sensors my "bad" language and auto corrects it is into some weird words!

Dillon just dropped by quickly, he had forgotten his phone AND his wallet so he ran home to grab the wallet at very least he doesn't like being without it. It was good to see him and made me feel a little better! I need to find some thing more solid the cranberry salad to eat for lunch though it is super tasty :) it is leaving me feeling kind of lethargic cause of all the sugar. I am thinking I'll reheat some ham my mom gave me.

Ellie slept really fearlessly and is up sitting next to me drinking some water. I guess she slept almost an hour.

I think all states are like that. I have had to do a FBI background check with Dillon to change our names it is like $26 a check and another 20 for finger prints. You are suppose to submit the FBI 3 months before the CBI for state check and we did that and never submitted out CBI which I guess was good because we got it returned more then a YEAR later with the cashier checks that I could no longer get cashed :( because we hadn't requested it properly

All sorts of bureaucratic red tape... yet people just try to live the best they can. So frustrating when we get nothing for it sometimes. I'm going to cross my fingers and toes that this delay doesn't cost me the job interview. It could.

Cole's making a bear roast tonight. It's nice not to have to cook. He also cleaned the downstairs. He's awesome... <3

I really hope you can still have the job interview. And that they get their hands of their beurocratic underpants :P so you can finish your certifications!

The boys are outside which is irritating Ellie she is standing at the big window calling to them "boys! Boys! Mihael! SEAN!" I need to get moving to the store soon but Ellie isn't even dressed :/

The envelope is all sealed up and ready to go out in tomorrow's mail. I'm going to keep hopeful. When I get down like this, I almost always feel better after a good night's sleep.

lol... Ellie. That's adorable. Have a good (hopefully quick) trip to the store. At the rate Terra devoured her grapes I have a feeling I'll be stopping in another day or two for more stock.

Sounds like diapers are definitely needed ASAP. :/ Constant leaks aren't easy to keep up with, nor fun for the extra laundry they create.

They are but they are just super pricy and it seems like all of our diaper covers (which are the most expensive thing to buy) are going out all at once o.o the three she will get for Christmas will be a big help, just need to hold out until tax season. We have enough but she is such a big wetter now that she just soaks the crud out of the insert and the elastic being older and the lamination being older it is a deadly combo. The girl can put back water too she is NO joke always asking for water o.o it got so bad that we bought her a 16oz water bottle. She will drink it all if we let her and still steal my water, or her bothers waters, or cups from Jayden. It's nuts! We only fill the water bottle halfway now I am terrified she is going to over flush her system.

I am so not digging stuff right now... I am ready to sign out emotionally and mentally for a while. Ellie is going through some really nasty phase that is making me want to string her from a tree until she is 30. Ugh... I thought it was her being house couped up or something but we left the house yesterday and the day before (and today for the store) and she played like crazy on Wednesday and was all over Thursday so what is it with her? Ugh. Little destructor ALL the time!

When Terra was passively potty training and using diapers, she always wet through for the exact same reasons. I'm really fortunate she's potty trained and hasn't had an accident in forever. I can't remember the last overnight diaper she had on. It went far easier than I thought it would, though I remember there was a time both Cole and I swore she'd never potty train.

I clocked out tonight. I feel guilty for it. I'm likely going to go to bed early (within an hour) and just mentally recoup. I should never stay up as late as I do, as I never get enough sleep. x_x

I hope Ellie calms soon. It's difficult to do anything or have any type of rest when she's wild all the time. o.o

I've been staying up entirely to late lately... until midnight knitting and watching Sister Wives o.o I am almost finished with all the seasons I can't stop I need another show to absently watch while knitting in bed lol.

Ugh I should warm dinner... I found some left overs and I am still being so blah about it. Bad mama...

We're doing leftovers tomorrow night. I'm going to toss rice into the rice cooker, but that's not cooking. If it takes me under 10 minutes, I'm off easy. :p

Cole's going to do the laundry at the laundromat tomorrow because we honestly have eight loads and there's just one washer and dryer here. Rather than be stuck doing laundry for 2 days straight he'll just get it all going at once there. Going to take Terra and visit with a friend tomorrow morning, then we're going to get right down and clean. I had hoped to get the tree this weekend but I'm just not feeling it. That, and the ornaments are down on the island. I'll get them next week. It makes better sense to just go after work, as it's just 10 minutes from my grandparents' house. Don't wanna spend the gas to make an extra trip. :p

I'm gonna go play a bit of a game and get to bed I think. Have a good night!

I've done that when stuff gets to out of hand here even lol. We have 9000 loads of laundry and diapers need to be stripped! Laundromat time!

I have lots of baking to do today! Bread and pie and I need to toast and dry my bread too o.O the turkey has been in the fridge all week and is still frozen too /fail. What is bad is I want nothing to do with being home today. I want to go to the store (Hobby Lobby) and the library and them tonight is the Parade of lights. I'd much rather just have fun today lol

I'd rather be out shopping, but not with the Black Friday crowds. /anxiety

The turkey I bought on sale yesterday was partially frozen, so I really should take it out of the fridge. I want to cook it up before my stuffing goes bad. Though really, I can probably stuff it into the bird to get it some new moisture. I'm taking Terra out for a bit (coffee with a friend), then I'll likely pull the bird to thaw on the counter some. I should cook it tomorrow!

Have a good day of cooking! I'll be on a bit later. Cross fingers Terra doesn't dismantle her house. I told her she's been unruly lately. >.>

We will probably go out to the mall, Wal-Mart, natural grocer, and Hobby Lobby today as well as cooking! Walmmart has pictures with Santa today and a free 5x7! Since I can't afford mall Santa pictures this will do. Dillon wants to check mall stores for a gift he wants to get me to avoid shopping costs.... then the natural grocer to get a couple things the house needs and Hobby Lobby for old fashion clothes pins for the Christmas gifts I plan on making people. Mikes needs some paint and such for a school project as well... depending on what we have after bills I am hoping to pick up some other items to make some gifts for kiddos!

Have fun on your visit! I'm off! Procrastination is not my friend!

I hope you have a good time out! I just got home and it was a nice visit. Grabbed bad food on the way home, and soon I'll start prepping leftovers just so they're done. We're only eating lunch now and it's almost 3pm, so I doubt we'll be eating dinner anytime soon. Cole's still at the laundromat. o.o

Ugh apparently in the midst of posting I shifted away and lost my post go me for my brain damage......

We haven't gone out yet, we did some of the baking and bills first. Got two pumpkin pies done, and just put in 2 out of 3 of our pumpkin swirl breads in the oven. Our banana bread is done already from a couple days ago. We'll be heading out in about an hour or so. We decided to skip Wal-Mart Santa. The cub scouts have a really neat Santa who visits every year and reads a story and stuff. We may still do mall Santa but not entirely sure yet definitely not today though.
