 That's nice... isn't it? :3
I want to be married, but I have a feeling I won't be.
If I'm lucky, then I wouldn't really mind what their career was.
Though, I hope it's not a military life of moving around.
I've got things I need to stay put to do.

I don't mind moving around, I wish we were in a larger city though. ^^;; Theres nothing close that makes this place feel homey...we always have to travel at least 40 minutes to get anywhere that I would consider normal for a city, a mall with more than 4 stores, Target, Staples, Outback etc. xD Some of those places are over an hour away. o.o The city I live in has nothing. Its depressing. lol.

I wouldn't change my husband for the world though. I'm quite fond of that man. :3 He joined the coast guard to support me and Kura, and he's been doing an awesome job of that, so I can't complain. I was 20 when we bought our first house, seriously, how many people have their lives started in such a fashion so young? I consider myself a lucky girl. :3 <3

Yeah, I prefer the city, myself. As I am a Navy Brat from the Country's captial!

Anyways, it's not that oh, I'd miss my friend's and family, and blah. I would terribly, but that's not what would hold me down. What I plan on doing for a career is what would hold me down, and I'd go mad if I was just a stay at home mom. My parents might disown me if I went into any branch of the military myself.

I do miss my friends and family, but we keep in touch randomly so Its all good. And we still have plans of moving back to the west coast at some point, so I know I wont be here forever, but the experience of new places is always nice. My dad was top of his class constantly so he always had first pick in where he was stationed, and so he always choose Southern California, which is where he and my mom grew up, so we never moved too far away.
Then theres me that moves to the east coast. lol. Ah well, such is life. :3

To keep from going crazy as a stay at home mom, I'm also a student. So it's not like the kids are my life, well they are I guess, but there is more to my life then just them. We also go out randomly to keep from feeling like its completely mundane day to day just existing type of things. We have fun. :3

*shrugs* It wouldn't work out, I know that.
I'm going to be opening a home for children who need more mental help/attention than they would recieve in a normal foster/orphanage. It wouldn't work out to be moving all the time. It couldn't be done.

Also, I would HATE being a student all the time. I hate it now. The school I go to sucks, the teachers don't care, and the students are mostly druggies. -___- I know college and high school are different, but I'm sick of school all together. I do it only because I want a life.

And as a Ex-Navy brat, I've seen enough of the world already. :)

@Mel- Well this move was literally 5 minutes away. We moved from an apartment to a trailer in a nice park tucked away. The place is well kept and there's decent space in between us so it doesn't feel like we're cramped. Most of the neighborhood is either seniors or younger families so we feel at home and it's peaceful. It's much nicer than the apartments we were living in. They were very ratty and depressing looking. We didn't have a porch like we did here or any ground to take care of. This next spring I'm looking forward to doing some gardening outside and improving our little flowerbed in the front. I might eventually expand it to around the whole house.

Right now though we've been compiling a list of things that need to be fixed or done, their priority and how much they'll cost to get done. There's a few things we need to do before winter - re-caulk the windows and also check and make sure the pipes are wrapped for winter. Also my clothesline needs fixing as the metal bar on one of the ends bent down and will eventually snap off. Hubby has put another pipe as reinforcement but said he needed an extra part and hasn't gotten around to it.

I'm loving it here, even if there's a lot of work to get done!

Izumi- Working on the house is half the fun. xD We need to fix a leak somewhere on the roof...and I think there was something else, but for the life of me I can't remember what!

Clair- o.o that sounds like some heavy duty work. So long as your heart is in it though, I wish you the best of luck. It really will be a great thing you are doing for those children. :3

BONES! I love that show. :D
I stay up to 9:30-10 most nights... but I'm a teen. :P
I'm actually considered the early to bed kid.
I just don't like staying up late... my sleeping pattern sucks.
No matter what I do, it'll take me hours to fall asleep, doesn't matter what time I go to bed, so I always try to make it around 9:30ish, that way I'm actually tired when I go to bed. After those hours of trying to fall asleep and if I succeed at it, then I sleep a few hours, and then wake up in the middle of the night. Then it takes me a while to fall back to sleep, and I always end up waking up around 5:30-6.

WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME!? :gonk:

:glomp: How is Melody this morning? ^^

It is a great show, I look forward to the new season. xD

It doesn't take me long to fall asleep anymore. Generally we go to bed at 9 pm. Scott gets up around 4 I get up around 6...sometimes 5.

Doing good, got up early made scott breakfast. Found some poptarts that my mom had sent me and decided to make those for myself...but they got stolen by the kids. xD The dog stinks...and keeps trying to bite the cat, I think I might toss him outside if he can't behave. :/ Big dogs are soooo not my thing. >.<

I use to go to bed between 10PM-2AM then get up between 4-6AM but I am kind of an insomniac LOL... Ever since I started watching my niece I've been crazy tired all the time... I think it is because I slept until nearly 8 yesterday cause our new alarm is freaking quiet... I wake up fine at 4 only because I have my internal clock set now... But we went back to sleep planning to get up at 6 (because I didn't want to fall asleep in my night class again) and it never happened all the kids stayed asleep the alarm went off for 2 hours and didn't even wake the baby who wakes up if you breath in to loudly LOL...

I've only ever seen one episode of Bones... We lack cable or even a decent antenna connection... I love not having a boob tube... Most days!

Hana0-0Usagi- not cooking a meal or two is always a nice thing. Allowing us to watch what we want to on tv or movie wise is also nice. Oh! You could orchestrate a movie night for her. Get some snacks, popcorn easy to cook things and just enjoy watching a silly movie together. :3 Sparkling cider is a nice addition. I love that stuff! XD

Clair- Coffee Cake. One of his favorites. :3

Jaz- we have free cable. >.> shhh. lolz. They never turned it off from the previous residents, so when we bought our new tv, the guys who delivered it just hooked it up for us. Then a storm came and the reception was crappy...then we switched to getting our internet from that company and the cable guy was like lol their mistake! But I'll just run the cable from here, splice it and BAM! Internet and Cable. Win! So I laugh when companies try to get us to switch for a lower price...I spend $30 a month on BOTH! xD

Mellie- WOW!!! I wonder... we have never hooked the cable into our line... LOL.... Though I am sure the cable company KNOWS that this area is known for lying cheating and stealing so they prolly watch the area like a hawk O_O;;

Hana0-0Usagi- Hrmm...help around the house and a little bit of quiet. Like an uninterrupted shower and not having to scream and yell to see a pair of socks picked up off the floor! I also agree with Mellie not cooking is also wonderful... Though lately I have been a slacker cook I haven't "officially" cooked for almost a week... I've prepared food but not really COOKED... But that is because of school partly and because my husband has been off for 3 days and will be off tomorrow as well. A movie night is a cool idea! Do you have younger siblings running about? If so arrange either movies that will entertain them or wait until after they are asleep... Personally my biggest want would be to have time JUST with my oldest... Like a hour or two where it is just him and I and no one else... I get that with my youngest and on occasion my husband but my oldest never.

Awww nuts Mel!! Wish I could get in on that offer! :XP We currently pay like $100 a month for phone/cable/internet. I could sure use the extra $70 a month...Hubby says we need phone, I won't go without my internet, and well I tried to get hubby to cut cable but he wouldn't have it. Him and the kids went through TV withdrawls..Me, personally, could care less about the TV. :XD

Izumi- we had a phone line before...but never used it and only ever got telemarketing calls on that line, so we moved from DSL to cable internet. Then got free cable in teh deal. xD I can't complain. We still watch more movies than tv though. Always been that way. >.> Mostly Disney movies or random educational things. My kids love them...its...odd. xD
Recently started watching seseame street though...that song sticks with you. The first time I watched it with them I knew the words from when I was a kid. O.o crazy.

Clair- yup./ :3 Got the recipe from my mom. Its yummy. xD

Jaz- I never seem to have time with my oldest either. ;-;
