Ok so I work in a place where not having kids means I get sent home with no additional pay. If I were sent home with pay and mileage I'd be ok lol.
I have a training tomorrow that I am not looking forward too. I feel like days off are too jumbled and not really relaxing days off... I work on Dillon's days off and he works on mine or I have trainings. I know I have said it before, but it is still seriously frustrating when I start brooding on it. Dillon was off at two today and so far we haven't gotten anywhere but fighting cooperations to get our internet AND wifi to work... Still on the losing end of that battle though... I seriously just wanted a new audio book to listen to. That's all I wanted... :/
I am so behind on laundry without a washer I can't even see straight through the bathroom into the laundryroom anymore. Hand washing is freaking exhausting. Bah... I need something to distract my mind I totally talked myself into being all broody and grouchy from not having a book to listen to while I was cleaning up in between calls V-V

I'm fortunate that right now, until the referrals come in fully (meaning until I have enough cases to be able to make my productivity requirements), I'm protected by salary. Once I have a full case, I'll move into the "you need to get your billable time in or you may lose employment", in which case, I would be very upset to have to drive two hours and not get billable time. Right now it's just a non-issue, so I'm going with the flow. Some things have happened this week that leave me wondering if I'll end up being a clinical supervisor before it's over with.
Training on a Saturday?! That's shitty. :( What kind of training is it?

Is at least paid time for training? Our managers at the Exchange kept trying to tell us we couldn't clock in when we went to their mandatory meetings AND for the training that they made us do online every 6 months. That ish took 3+ hours! D: And meetings were always at least an hour. Not getting paid... not going/doing it. haha.
Oh Jazzy. My heart breaks about the washer. I remember how it felt to do hand washing for EVERYTHING. Freaking exhausting. Is there any end in sight? Do you need a new washer? Does it need fixing? What's the issue with it? (I;m sure you mentioned in the previous pages...but I didn't go and backread so I'm a month behind. D: )
It's good you're protected Chi! It's nice that your company is giving you that benefit! It doesn't seem like many are that...generous these days.

All professional development things are on Saturday. Including life saving trainings. This one was a combo training, social emotional, licensing and special needs. It was 7am-12:45pm and wasn't too horrible except that I couldn't pump in all that time. The problem with professional developments is that they are optional, but there is a mandatory number you must do over the course of a 12 month period. I have until May to complete 15 professional development hours and 4 of them must be social emotional. I've completed 8 so far.
There is no end in sight yet. We need a new washer. We had a warranty on the washer and they took a week to send out a company to fix it who said it would be in the next week. Then we get a call the next everlasting fix it company says the part will be too costly so they will refund our money. That was two weeks ago and I got an email 2 days ago basically restating what the call had with tax included in the price. We need a new washer. And hand washing is horrible exhausting it isn't helped that I am finding a bunch of folded crap among my dirty stuff... dang these kids...
I hope you won't have to mess with this once you get off of salary. <3 chi

So they're going to refund you the price of the washer+tax they just haven't done it yet? It can't be that hard... why do companies have to constantly put people through shit? :/
On around the same lines... why do my children have to constantly not listen to a word I say? Is it so hard to wear weather appropriate clothing, or change if you aren't? I mean really. The only reason we're going out right now is because of them, so I'd really like for them to be wearing appropriate clothing as I know at the birthday party they'll be running around and being crazy. I don't need them over heating. ugh. children. I'm aware that my fear of them overheating shouldn't be there as it's like 60 degrees out... but dang it it's there anyway. >.<

Yep we're waiting I am pretty sure they are giving it back via Lowe's card or else I wouldn't go back there because of hoe long it has taken

I'll have to mess with it, BUT, I also know that if I had a specific reason for why I didn't maintain my hours, I'd be okay. My supervisor and the regional director are both very level headed and wouldn't run someone under the bus if they couldn't make the hours due to things legitimately outside of my control. I do believe I would be at fault if I didn't make rescheduling happen though...
Like let's say my Friday session canceled, it would be up to me to see if they'd do it Saturday or Sunday, that kinda thing.
So, in terms of kids, Terra ran off this evening while Cole was prepping dinner (grilled burgers). x_x I'm glad we have good neighbors.. sigh.
I hope you get the money back soon and get a washer. I'd be freaking beside myself. >/

I am too exhausted to be beside myself :P I have done three loads so far today none of the laundry through out the last two or so weeks has been folded at all. I am going to attempt that in a bit. /dies
My best friends daughter did that to her while everyone was napping. I have never had it happen to me thus far. I would freak if one of my kids crossed our street it is too stupid busy!

Kura wandered off at a mall once, she was holding my hand then I let go because she was squirming while I was discussing something with a sales lady and when I looked down not 30 seconds later she was gone. No where in the store, I was freaking out. Walked out of the store (okay, I ran) and was looking everywhere while I had the lady I was talking to double checking through the store, then I see her, merrily walking toward me from Build-a-bear, with a balloon. Never again. I have no suggestions on keeping her from doing that.
Invitations have finally been printed for the kids party on Sunday. I feel like I'm finally getting on top of things. It helps that I bought a printer today so I've got the means to print out the food cards and everything that I'll need to do. There goes my paycheck extras, but it's been months and there have been so many instances where I needed a printer and didn't have one. We got one of the Epson ones where you can buy and replace just the color you used up instead of the entire tri-color cartridge. We tend to only ever use up Blue... haha

Yay for the party! They can be stressful, but worth it.
I need to do some budget-fu, after we talk to someone about a generator. We're going to need one no later than next month, so... gotta see how much we need to come up with. x_x;

I was just doing bills going good lord I need to get these back under control...and honestly the party isn't helping with that at all. Even the diy decor stuff I'm coming up with I have to buy some of the supplies for. >.< Every time I go to the bank account I see that my credit card has more charges on it than our checking account can handle. *sigh* I'm feeling quite beaten right now. I'm considering getting a second job. I wonder if anyone around here hires seasonally? I just... don't know right now. I know that if I buckle down I should be able to manage this. Maybe I'll just see if Scott can go on a couple more deployments... as deployments give a nice pay bump. I don't know. I'll come up with something.
Yes. Stressful is a good word for parties. Never mind that my house is in desperate need of cleaning again and the kids aren't helping at all. Quite the opposite actually. I wake up, I clean, the kids get home, they terrorize and do homework, I clean, Scouts/karate, dinner, storytime, showers and bedtime then work.

Hi Lovelies!
I've just popped online to tell you that bubs is here!!
My little boy Jaxsyn.
Born 30.08.14 1:17pm via emergency c section! 37 weeks, 6 days.
3360kgs (7.7 llbs)
After 15 hours of labour & 2 failed inductions. Obviously someone wasn't ready to come lol.
Basically i was brought back into the hospital on the thursday for reduced fetal movements. Due to my diabetes they thought the safest thing was to induce earlier then expected. So they did the whole foley balloon thing that night. SERIOUSLY that was the worst thing ever. I screamed and kicked & basically wanted to kick the doctor in the head! Lol. It was a waste of time too because friday they took it out, as i had only dilated 1cm . So they induced using the hormonal gel. I got bad pelvic pains for about 5-6 hours after this (didn't know it was contractions nobody told me what it was). But it died off and i fell asleep. They then gave me a second lot and at about 6-7pm i started getting contractions. Of course still not realizing these were contractions. Doc came in at about 12am and said i was 4cms and broke my waters. Off they wheeled me to labour and delivery suite. Midwife asked me if i thought about pain relief, i immediately said EPIDURAL! LOL
So they gave me that, and it worked well and i drifted in and out of sleep, it started to wear off so they gave me a second lot - and that didn't work. So they immediately thought the epidural had been displaced somehow. God was i in pain from then on. At about 11am sat, they said i had only dilated 1cm in 8 hours and the cervix had become obstructed so they had to give me an emergency caesarean. I balled my eyes out. I dunno why but i thought i was gonna die. They gave me yet another epidural and a spinal injection & set to work getting bubs out. And so he was born 1:17pm, fit n healthy. I on the other hand am having a hard time trying to heal from abdominal surgery lol. Hard for me to get up and down and tend to him. Makes me cry most of the time. But it's much better now the staples are out!
I really wanted to breastfeed, but unfortunately he was born with a tongue tie & asymetric face :(. So he found it hard to latch and just basically screamed most of the time. So i expressed to give him what i could. But that become too hard for me as i was getting so little out of it, and my boobs hurt like hell. So i gave up.
But apart from all of that. He's amazing, and i just love him to pieces! :)

He's precious!! Congratulations!! Such a birth story though! I hope you're feeling better, I remember having the issues of tending to babies after my c-section too. It always felt like my insides were going to just fall out of me. D: Major surgery...and then caring for babies is not the easiest thing. Do you have family or friends around to help? Will you be able to? I found it so much easier once I had people around to bring the babies to me and what not.

Cole keeps confusing me. He'll go from adamantly "NO NEVER" to "should we keep this in case we have another kid?", bah.
Terra had her 4 year checkup. She's 50lbs and 44" tall. 99th percentile for height and weight, and she's maintained the same curve from birth 'till now. All in all, good stuff. When we were leaving, the nurse gave her extra stickers, and let her tear them from the roll. When she did, I noticed she was fiddling with the paper part, and I asked what she was doing. She said, "I'm just taking off the excess paper."
The nurse said, "What four year old says 'excess'?"
Don't many? Oo; I dunno... I don't stop to think about these things. Her doctor seemed impressed with the conversations they were having.

xD I'm always amused by the words my kids come up with in conversations. Kids take after their parents speech patterns...and it makes me smile. Most of the time. xD
I'm glad she's doing so well!! You have such a clever little girl. <3

Oh where did my all-night sleeper go? My son (10 1/2 months) was sleeping all through the night from about 4 weeks old until a few weeks ago. I bring him into bed with me when he wakes up because I have no idea what he could be wanting. I give him a bottle when I put him down to bed and I thought that would fill him up for the night like it usually does. Any ideas?

Aww what a little doll and what a birth story congrats Roachi. Tongue tie stinks. But you do what is best for the both of you :)
Chi glad that she is doing so well. Not many 4 year olds speak as well as Terra. Many or our 4 year olds are still very difficult to understand and some nearly impossible. It really makes me feel more secure about my kids some days. Though Ellie is a smidge behind verbally.
MissDifferent there are a couple likely culprits. Teeth, change and or newly developing skills. My son is 6 months and I don't think he has slept maybe two days more then a 4-6 hour stretch. Usually he wakes every 1-2 hours. Especially now. He recently learned to stand up on things and has been learning to crawl. So sleep is scarce here. But those are the likely causes that mess with baby sleep schedules. My two year old still is effected by them. And she has been sleeping though the night (on and off) for over a year.

Parenting is so confusing haha
He has 3 teeth with another coming trough and so far teething hasn't been too bad, just chewing on the cot side. He is taking a few unassisted steps, though which could be causing it. Do you think he could be getting hungry overnight? I really don't want to bring him into bed with me because he twists and turns all night which makes for a very sleepy, grumpy mummy

I know that one well... I've been trying to get to side car-ing my son's crib currently because sleeping with him is like sleeping with an alligator.... Doing a death roll lol... But steps, teeth they can for sure be causes in his sleep changes. And growth of any kind can make wee ones hungry. Ravenously so.

I see the maternal and child health nurse next week after he comes home from his dad's place, so hopefully the nurse can suggest something. As much as I love my monkey, I love my sleep too.
It was so funny yesterday, he was walking along the couch and holding on, so he sped up his walking to somewhere between a walk and a run, but his hands couldn't keep up. He was going too fast and fell which was too funny to feel bad about and he only cried for a minute or two. He'll be walking on his own really soon and then running the next day!

Running always shortly follows the walking. lol. I wish they'd take a bit more time inbetween the two to give mom a chance to catch up!!
Perhaps you could get a co-sleeper bed for him? Something to essentially add onto your bed with out actually having him in your bed? I never used them, so I don't know if there are age restrictions, weight restrictions etc, but it's worth a thought? I do however know that learning new skills and growing tend to make children of any age voracious eaters. So there is a good chance that his middle of the night wakings have to do with being hungry!
