Your welcome sweety. Ah, the first is always the most exciting. Well all you really have to do is eat right and kick back and relax. Make the most of the piece and quiet and free time, its going to be pretty hectic after the baby is born lol
You getting a scan to see whether its a boy or a girl?

Good, kids had a dental appointment this morning, no cavities so I'm happy. My fish are still alive, and we bought Snow White and the 7 Dwarves. I forgot how much I hated Snow White. o.o She's so annoying, I don't blame the queen for wanting her dead. :x

I hated Snow White too, and Little Mermaid, basically all those disney fairytale adaptions, I have always had a thing against disney, some of their new things are ok, though I can't stand High School Musical.
Ah, we used to have fish but after I caught Jade with her hand in the tank I decided that it wasn't the best idea for a pet lol
Dentists, urgh my kids were awful, my eldest has perfect teeth though it went downhill from tehre. My middle one never used to brush her teeth so you had to nag at her so she had a few rotten teeth and fillings so then I would just nag at her more and my youngets has really weak teeth that are pretty squint so she has braces. She was not impressed, I have never been so embarrassed, an elleven year old throwing a tantrum! She has had them on for two years now, getting them off in June which she is happy about, me to because I am sick of going into the bathroom and finding her braces resting on the sink.

Aw, I like most of the early disney movies. Or, mid disney movies more like it. Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid. Not too fond of Peter Pan, Snow White, Dumbo or pinocchio though. *shrugs* My kids like them still, so I get them for them. That and I like my collection. xD Though most of their new stuff is really cute too. <3

My kids are all really good about their teeth. They love brushing them then running up to me asking if they sparkle. It's cute. Flossing on the other hand...isn't so easy. They want to do it themselves, but don't have the dexterity yet to do it. >.<

I like the disney pixar things, like Shrek and Toy Story. Chicken Run is also a personaly favourite xD
Now that my girls are teenagers they care about their teeth, my youngest two complain like mad about their teeth though I have no sympathy and tell them that I warned them and told them to brush so then they go in a major strop.
Luckily teeth hygene is not such a battle with Cameron, he loves it to, he likes the minty taste, though if I didn't watch him he would eat the thing lol

Shrek and Chicken Run are dreamworks. Not Pixar. >.>

Toy Story is a Disney/Pixar creation. I'm quite fond of Pixar. They have a good thing going for them. :3

Scott wants to make dim sum for dinner....It's going to be a while before dinner. I wish I had more than chips for lunch

I wanted to know the genders of my kids too. It's so much easier to get the nursery/clothes etc ready for them when you know WHAT you are getting ready for!

Exactly :) I want a girl, but I dread what people would buy for me if it were, haha. I'm not a fan of pink and frills.

I'd want a girl cause I'd dress her in really cute Hello Kitty outfits.

I can't do that with my stepdaughter...cause she doesn't like Hello Kitty. :(

They have really pretty non pink non frilly dresses. Though, I tended towards blue and yellow with all my kids (Ducky FTW!!) Though I did get quite a bit of pretty white and pink stuff as well. But, I love pink so it didn't bother me at all.

You know I noticed boys clothing tends not to be as cute as girl's clothing. I would much rather shop for girl's clothing for cute and pink things. I don't think that you get much of a choice in the matter, but if it ever happens I'm seriously hoping for a little girl. (And I'm naming her Aeris, dammit!)

You know the thing that baffles me is why couples say stuff like "we're pregnant". It's technically impossible for a man to be 'pregnant'. Aaron's like well it'd be the guys baby too...and I'm like yah but it just sounds weird!

I stuck with "We're going to have a baby" and tried to ignore the entire "pregnant" term. It just sounds weird to me.

Boys don't have as much of a selction as girls do either. That was the main draw back to having a boy. Specially for me as I don't care for sports, and neither does my husband. So 'Sport themed' clothes were out. Then theres the selection of shoes. I like my kids to have a pair of sandals, and a pair of shoes. It is impossible to find that for little boys! Their sandals are never in stock, or they don't have the right size, and for the past year they have only had 3 different boy shoes. Bakugon (sp?) Spiderman and Cars. Thats all I get to choose from. No random generic colors...just themed...so we went with cars... so he's had the same shoes, different sizes, for a year now! (And that is something, since his feet are growing fast. He was a 6 at the beginning of the year, he's wearing a 9 now)

Wow Mel he is growing!

That stinks that you can't find just a normal branded shoe. I hate paying extra for something 'name brand'...especially if it's for a kid who's going to out grow it. I have a special place for Hello Kitty, so I would have to make an exception! (That and I can't get Pam to wear it. Well she has two hello kitty sweatshirts given to her and she kept them to 'make me happy'. I was like aww but you don't think they're cute too? No not really. >_<;; )

Haha. Have you tried giving her the punk Hello Kitty? Or Chococat? I like Chococat, personally :) My husband actually likes Hello Kitty. He's a goofball.

oh yeah, well all them brands are the same to me, they make good films though. I found that when I was picking up some new clothes for Cameron since his last ones were pretty tatty and too small for him, there is hardly any choice for him. My partner is a big sports fan and Cameron loves to run around so thats ok for him, thats why I loved having girls too, so easy to get things for them.
I love pink too but after the third girl I was getting a little bored so went into purple, blue and yellow.

My kids always kinda got a variety of colors. Kuras first holiday dress was dark green and velvety. Melodys was Red aaron got a cute blue shirt and bow tie set. I dunno, I was never much for keeping babies in traditional blue/pink colors. Their wardrobe would be too dull that way.
