I need a job, ugh. One that pays well, and with benefits. I could be a homemaker for life, but I don't really want to, lol.
How is everyone?

I love being a homemaker, but I also love my job. I think given a real chooce between the two, I would have a very hard choice lol.
I have been doing pretty well. It gets crazy balancing work and home but it has been good here. How are you?

@Jaz
I think right now I want neither to be a homemaker or a mom. I need a break from everyone and everything. I'm trying to live day-to-day and not too far into the future, because the time I can go part-time is so far away. It's a pain in the butt.
@Lavinia
Oooh! How did the appointment go?

Hello. I'm Shamus. I'm a father to 10 wonderful children (soon to be 11). My oldest is 19 and my youngest three are triplets and they are 4. : ) I have 4 girls and 6 boys.
My girlfriend went into preterm labor last wednesday and dilated 2 cm but they were able to stop it and she didnt deliver. She's on bedrest now and we just have to keep an eye on her cervix to make sure it doesnt dilate further. We were told if it does and/or she has contractions again, we need to return to the ER.
We are expecting another boy and his name will be Noel.

I didnt read through the entire thread and I'm new, so I dont know but how many kids do you have? : O

Hehe yeah I've heard being pregnant in summer sucks. I can sort of relate because I'm not a small man, so I know how much it sucks to be on the heavier side in the heat of summer.

Yesterday Janna became 27 weeks. Since we conceived on a tuesday her weeks start in tuesdays. So far she hasnt gone back into preterm labor and we are hoping that if she stays in bed, Noel will stay where he needs to be for now.

hopefully all goes well and Noel comes out healthy. :]
Things are insane. We just finally aren't in crisis mode so we were able to get new computers which has been put off for 5 years. We also were able to get a new bed so that's a huge relief. It's nice to finally have a bed that's not 15 years old and springs sticking in our backs. The girls are both in school now. Mary starts kindegarten in September and both of their speeches have improved leaps and bounds with the school/speech therapy. They're also both FINALLY potty training. Mary should be in only underwear soon I think. And that's gonna put a load off our minds cause diapers will be a much much lower spending block on our income.
Hmm what else has been going on.... they're both still disobedient as to be expected by their ages 3 and 4 now. Mary will be five in May though. Jaijin's grandpa passed away in Jan or Feb, i can't remember now its been a blur. But he made it further than the doctors expected by roughly a month. They found out he had a brain tumor :/ and he passed away a couple weeks later. And My grandma passed away in November. She was my last grandparent left alive. and the only one i've known. So things have been really rough. And now My grandma in law has been diagnosed to say she's not going to make it through this next winter.

Shadami: I hope so to. Thank you. I just recently found out that Janna tricked me into conceiving him though and that he wasnt actually unplanned. I got with her once before, years ago when my ex wife and I took a year and a half hiatus. I almost immediately impregnated her because we didnt realize that antibiotics significantly lowered the effect of birth control. So we ended uo having our son, cian who is 5 now. When my ex and I recently divorced, I was already going out with Janna (thats why we divorced. I was cheating) and Janna begged for another baby. I said since I had 10, I didnt want another. She purposely messed up her birth control and secretly tracked her ovulation and now she's 27 weeks. I am pretty pissed, even though I still am excited to be welcoming Noel into the family soon.
I'm incredibly sorry to hear of the grandparents. Its never easy. How is everyone feeling about it now?
Lavinia: Congrats!! Olivia is a cute name.

Shadami I have some wives tales for concieving boys. They worked for concieving a girl lol.
Congrats Lavinia, girls are fun, and crazy!
Welcome Shamus. Congrats on your soon to be newest little one. I had always wanted 10 kids. And who knows, maybe I will have it some day when my crazy littlest is older and we foster adopt a sibling group :P that is my hope anyhow.

if only eating a carrot and listening to alternative music (i'm pretty sure that's in) like in sims 4 worked to get me a boy. xD
tricked as it may be you get to have another bundle of joy <3 and that still deserves the congrats!
I don't even know what's going on with my life. I'm litterly going from day to day right now. Both girls are going to be going to summer school cause the speech therapy needs to be constant or they revert more. and i'm trying so hard and i'm just so tired .
Hubby is going to lose his job if one more person leaves the company because they won't have the minimum people required to bother keeping the company open. and we just got this job after losing a job to other bs. I'm emotionally worn out by this constant "are we going to have an income. Are we going to have a roof over our heads" its to much.

There's a lot to be said when basic needs aren't met. Everyone deserves stable housing, safety, and food. Life is hard enough when you have that secured. I can't freaking imagine.
I'm going part-time as of June 1st. I don't know what's going to happen to us financially, but we'll figure it out. I can't make full-time hours work with my husband's work schedule because I'm having to pull 14-16 hour days if so, and my health is in the toilet. I'll take the summer to figure out what we need to do. Depends on health insurance costs and all that. I hate that we even have to have it. The premiums are so expensive that I won't go to the doctor anyway. Why bother if the deductible will break us anyway? Blah.

i still feel like everything is falling apart around me. which reminds me i need to call my doctor and reschedule cause the other doctor appointment that its a follow up for isn't until after it.
and our medicaid and whatever insurance is still being dumb and i'm tired of trying to sort it out. and our student loans are giving us the middle finger and falling apart. We sent in paperwork over and over and over and they're claiming we never sent in anything so now they're trying to take us to debt collectors cause we haven't paid in 6 months. except we can't pay and we told them that over and over 8 months ago and they kept refusing to take the paperwork and its just been a huge headache and i want to cry. xD
I'm doing the twitch thing pretty regularly though and trying to get a little bit of income from that. at most i get 100 a month when i'm lucky so its not much. but it helps.

$100 is $100. In times of need, it's a lot. I don't know what's to come of everyone financially. I feel like we're working in a system that's designed to fail. Many disagree, and that's their right, but I'm just boggled.
This summer I'm going to make more time to just breathe and enjoy my surroundings. I don't do it enough. I let all the stuff get to me too much these days.

i want to get out hiking and go to the beach alot more often.
