Melody, I honestly think that every parent faces that at one point or another. Besides, WalMart has enough money...lol. I really don't think one pack of batteries will break their bank.

Good morning Jurupamae! Have a great day at work <3

Roocee- very true. I just think its kinda funny. I felt bad for not paying for it but if the cashier didnt notice and neither did the door people its their loss. And I think walmart has more than enough money. specially from me. Xp I swear every time i go there i end up spending over $100 it makes my bank sad. </3 [edit] and i think your sig is completely adorable. my daughter screamed NEMO! when she saw it. once the movers get our furniture here im going to buy her a fishy <3

get her a betta fish. They are hardy and come in lots of different colors and like to be in a smaller tank/bowl.

I work in the fish department at my store.

Justin has a fish tank in his room and we have two in our room. Will probably sneak one out in the living room one day when my parents are on vacation.

gemini- i was considering a beta. but i like larger fish tanks. You can put in a bunch of different kinds of fish and it makes it more fun to watch. but you bring up a very good point about them being hardy fish. That would probably be the best bet, at least until the kids are older. :P and it will help them learn their colors. I think i like the blue ones best. lol.

foggy- omg hes too cute!

my twins turned 1 today! omg! lol. i dont know where the time went. im so excited though. <3 i cant believe it, but im totally excited. I got them a bunch of ride on toys and cars because they love pushing things around, and best of all...bouncy balls. lol. they can chase those things for hours. im happy. <3 cant wait til the hubby gets home so i can have them play with their new toys (decided against wrapping them it would take too long to do and they would get confused. lol. My toddler is already incredibly jealous of them today. because i was singing to them when they woke up. shes pouting going i want birthday to you~! silly toddlers. so later today ill probably be updating pictures. or tomorrow it depends on how they are all acting and if i can get to the store to buy some compressed air. (the memory card reader in my computer got all dusty on te drive and so i have to clean it out before i can put any pictures from the camera on. POO. lol. anyway im going to get to baking the cake ill be on again during nap time <333

Good morning!

Birthdays are so much fun when they are little like that and they get so excited. When my son turned a year old we had a little party for him and two other kids that had just turned one and we put plastic down in the kitchen and put the cake on the floor and let them have at it. Needless to say it was bath time very soon after, lol

@foggyday: My oldest is 13 almost 14 and my youngest turned eight in june.

lol thats pretty much what im planning on doing for them today. well have an early dinner so that they can have the cake around 7:30 and then at 8 they will have bath time. it should be good fun for them. <3
when my oldest turned one she got into the brownie batter i was going to make for her birthday. it was ALL OVER the kitchen floor I hadnt expected her to climb up on the chair and knock it off the table. oh well. So once she finished destroying what i was going to make she went to take a bath.

it seems that bath time is how most childrens parties end that ive been to so far. lol.
-juru- when do they stop being so messy with their birthdays? XD

LOL, they stop being messy when suddenly they want to go to the movies with their friends rather than have a party at home. Well... I should say they stop being messy and start getting more expensive,

As long as they enjoy themselves that is all I care about. I don't think anyone should ever have a terrible birthday. That doesn't seem right to me.

true true, but i dont want to be cleaning for a while like i did with my first daughter. lol.
i think i always celebrated my birthdays with my parents. until i moved out that is. and even then i think i still celebrated with one of them last year. i had kidnapped my mom shortly after my twins were born because i had them via cesarian and i needed help getting around the house adn taking care of them. :P and since my birthday is the 30th she just stuck around until then. it was awesome. lol. i didnt have to cook or clean! course the dr told me not to do much of anything until october.

im looking forward to the pictures with cake and frosting all over their faces though! lol. those are awesome.

Aww... so cute! I can't believe mine were that little at one time. I think all parents say that though.

I have all the kids I plan to have. I have one of each and that is enough :)

i was hoping to only have 2 kids when i first got pregnant. because everything we had was in sets of 4 it would have been perfect!
but then i had twins and so weve gone out and upgraded just about everything so that we have about 5+ lol.
i had 3 siblings growing up and a ton of cousins. i had fun with it minus when we were fighting.

oh! juru- do you have any potty training tips? my daughter knows what to do and we had her trained for a bit but going cross country killed that. since yours are already gorwn up and trained i was wondering if you had any tips

(or any other mother for that matter with potty trained children i need help!)

I don't have any siblings. I am an only child so dealing with sibling rivalry and fighting and whatnot is all new to me.

As far as potty training, not really. Cheyenne was easy because she hated to be dirty. Jordan, well... we put cheerios in the toilet and let him aim at them. Poo was an entirely different story though. We still have issues with that. He just doesn't like to go.

Ugh. </3

The kids are great when they are by themselves and they think no one is looking.
