Hey, Jaz.
@ Ava::
Yeah, my mother always calls me her early birthday gift.
Your son sounds like a doll, though.
I can't (yes, I really can :P) wait until I become a mom. I just won't rush it.

Thank you for the welcome Melody :)
Wow, twins, how sweet. I love twins, they are so cute and...matching lol
Yeah I am a starsign apart from Levi too, shame really. I suppose since he is a January baby he could either be a late Christmas present or an early birthday present if you want to look at it like that.
Aw thats sweet Clair. Though you have thr right idea, you should wait until your ready, I wasn't actually wanting any children until after I had finished my nursing training but oh well, I can do that another time, I have enough training to do a job I love anyway so its all OK.

Yeah... I'm really too young as of right now. I just turned 18, and I'm still in High School.
Not ready for a baby.
MELODY! :glomp: Is there a positive sign yet!?

Thanks Clair! I am really tired... but the boys wouldn't get along without me supervising... They are watching baby Monet right now which is kind of giving me a head ache but they are really enjoying it!

It's ok... The video stopped so it feels better now... They moved on to Oliver and Company... Tonight is turning into a movie night cause I just don't have the energy to fight with them or chase them out of things. Generally if the evil television is on they are zombies... ><;; I just can't help it right now... I am having trouble moving... And my hubby works the night shift tonight. Which sucks bad I need my honey... He knows how to make me feel better... I wish there was something I could get delivered other then Pizza >.> like tea and chicken noodle ROFL!

ugh, I realized tonight that I had 3 assignments due, not one. Well, glad I caught those before the night was over. 10/10 on one quiz, no idea for the other two assignments though. I guess I'll know more when I check my emails tomorrow or the next day...or in two weeks. she takes so long to get back to us it's annoying. >.< Specially on things regarding our thesis for our analysis papers. It would be nice to have feedback BEFORE I've written the whole damn paper! UGH.
LOL I just realized this thread is about parents but I think Jazzy and I spend more time talking about school/homework. I swear it's related to parenting somehow!!
Clair- Two positive tests, one semi-positive test, and one negative. All in the past two days. Yesterday morning was positive, yesterday afternoon negative, this morning semi positive, and this afternoon positive.
Yes, I've spent a lot of time peeing on those damn sticks. BUT I WANT TO KNOW! If I get another positive tomorrow i"m calling my nurse to see if I can go in for my beta early and surprise my intended parents with the results before they are expecting them. That would be pretty exciting. (: Well, it would be exciting so long as the results are congruent with the EPT tests that say I'm pregnant instead of the First Response tests that say I am not or just kinda barely pregnant. What confuses is me EPT claims 5 days before your missed period, FR claims 6, but it's hardly registering on those. :/ Driving me crazy. Seriously. I don't know how women with infertility issues deal with the wait! D:
I'm shivering cold...and need to go hold an ice pack to my butt before I get my shot tonight. ;-; Anyway, I've gotten all my work in, I'll read more of the book I have to analyze tonight and tomorrow so when she comes back to me going "LOL WUT" I can give a better thesis/outline to her to approve. and with that I bid you all adieu <3

It was positive again this morning. I'm going to call my nurse and see if we can push my beta test forward. If she says no, that's cool. I still have 2 more tests to take for the next two days since I am just that obsessive.
I swear I wasn't like this with my own babies.

Eveing all. Hows everyone doing today?
What a day I had, I was only at work for a half day but I was rushed off my feet the whole day. Plus Levi still has a rotten cold, his chest is really bad just now too. I hope it clears up by Friday otherwise I will need to take him to the doctors to see if they can clear it up. Plus since he is feeling poorly he isn't sleeping so its not helping me catch up on my sleep either.
I need to get down to writing a letter to the housing office now though, see if I can't sort us out a place to stay. Ah, a womans work lol

I'm doing quite well today. I have a class later that I need to re-read some stuff for. But it shouldn't take too long. Got our taxes taken care of today.
I think I may go take a shower in a bit and just relax. that sounds nice actually.
xD
Ava- have you tried putting some vicks vapor rub on his chest/feet? That normally helps kids breathe easier. And see if you can find infants cold meds too. (:

No I haven't actually tried that yet, they didn't have any in stock when I was last in my local chemists, I will check tomorrow in my lunch hour to see if I can pick up something, he is really wheezy just now so anything that could clear it would be great.
Thats good to hear. What class are you taking?

I pick up some childrens cold medicine at the beginning of every winter. they generally have coupons and heaven knows at least one of the three will get sick, so I just stay prepared.
I'm taking theatre appreciation, bio II, and World Lit. I finished my theatre stuff for today, and will begin working on reading through the bio stuff for this evening in a couple of minutes. (:

Thats a good idea actually, I will have to stock up on some cough medicine and that for Levi, saves him going through that all the time, though he is feeling a lot better though so I don't think we will need the doctors.
Oh wow, sounds cool. What are you hoping to do after you pass your classes?

Baby Vicks is AWESOME STUFF!!! And it isn't quite as smack you in the face as the adult version... I do the same as Mellie though at the beginning of fall or winter we stock up on kiddy (and adult) pain meds and cold/ sinus/ flu/ allergy meds... This year though we got hit cause Sean had a bunch of ear infections and they were discussing us taking him to the ear nose and throat doctor to get tubes... We lucked out and he healed up ok but still had fluid backed up in his ear so she recommended Zyrtec something that I haven't bought since Michael's eczema days O_O and even then I got a TON of samples and only had to buy it ONCE! That junk is expensive man! Especially the infant one GEEZ!!! I only had to buy Michael the toddler stuff he was about 2.5 years when he outgrew his eczema. But it doesn't compare with the ONLY kind of cold and flu meds I can take other then tylenol/advil etc... I can ONLY take Mucinex which is like 30 bucks a box man O_O
Yeah we do talk about school a lot here lol... It so is related to parenting though LOL...

Clair- man, I wish I could do that. I was watching the news and some lady had a website where she tracked coupons and store specials that she would combine with the coupons, but I wasn't home and didn't get to write it down. Which sucks, I'd love to save a ton of money on shopping. Woman would go and get $300 worth of groceries for under $100! WIN!
Ava- Eventually I'd like to get a bachelors in Science and go from there to become a marine biologist. But until then I'm just working on getting my general education associates degree. Which I will be getting in May.
Jaz- Just think how much MORE annoying it is to be pregnant and sick. You can't take anything. (that works anyway xD)

Oh cool, well good luck with that Melody, I wish you all the best with that.
I love cupons, I always get them from my supermarket for using their loyalty cards, I got my whole Christmas and New Years dinner for about £10 with the help of that, I was very impressed with that :)
