Yay for anime.

I enjoyed Sailor Moon. My favorites were Saturn and Jupiter.
The first anime I ever watched was Dragonball Z.
Pokemon is ok I don't remember which season I stopped watching it. I think it was one of the ones with May in it.

You'll find a lot of people who say that Sailor Moon was the show that first introduced them to anime, including me. Well, I had of course seen other anime before, Vampire Hunter D and such, but there was really no understanding of what the medium was. It was only after getting into Sailor Moon did I actively begin to seek out what anime was about.

And I still have a soft spot for the show and consider it one of my favorites. A grown man that likes Sailor Moon, yes. :P

My boyfriend can't stand it and makes fun of it.

Yeah not everyone does. A lot of people I went to high school with don't like anime and thought it was stupid.

Alot I know didn't like it until Howl came out.

A local TV said that anime was just for kids and that hentai was defiling the concept of fun for kids.

They made local catechists and so-called concerned parents talk.

Suuuure... Like the original DBZ was really for kids.

Especially when you take into consideration before it got cut much, there were times Bulma lost her panties. XD

Yeah. I never watched the uncut DBZ and I doubt I ever will.

A number of things were edited for better...or for worse.
