I totally wish our kitty was all cuddly....He can be occasionally, but mostly he wants to play and explore.

My cats definitely aren't cuddly. I can't even pick them up! ;_____;
They just like to explore too. And be fed canned food once in a while. xD;

My one cat he likes to be lazy and just lay around. He comes to you when he wants attention. Then the other cat he likes to explore and play, but he can be cuddly at times.

If you're wondering we have 4 cats in total. Two of them are 10 years old and the other 2 are about 10 weeks or so.

Our oldest cat was furious when my parents got another cat.
And I have two cats myself, so when I'm visiting, our oldest cat becomes a monster. :gonk:

They weren't too happy. The one has kinda warmed up to them and tries to play with them until they start playing back. The other is just a big old hiss butt. He doesn't want anything to do with the kittens.

Yep, sounds like our cat. He likes to sleep most of the day.

But he's can also be very talkative. He was talking like crazy to the other kitty outside and very excited, but the other cat just sat there in boredom and didn't say a word.

@bbr: Aww, poor old kitty. Make sure he has somewhere that he can go to be alone.
Grumpy old men need to have a safe place to themselves without any stress. :)

I like talkative cats, but I don't think I'd like to keep one at home.

@ Siri - He climbs up on stuff to get away from them. Plus since the kittens are so little we don't let them have the run of the house unless we are home and awake. So he has plenty of alone time when the kittens aren't out.

That's good. Hopefully he'll get used to them in time and start to accept them.

Yeah, he's fine as long as they don't get really close to him or pester him. The other day the one kitten went up to him and swatted him then ran away. He chased the kitten so he could hiss at him and swat him back.

It's kind of funny that we are all cat people!

Oh noes, sounds to me like our kitty went back to sleep. He is just too cute all curled up atop his blanket.

Haha, my cat swats at our cats too. It's so funny when they do that!
Our is declawed so she just punches everyone (including people).

Lol, ours do that, but they aren't declawed. So sometimes they bare claws when they swat.

My kittens aren't declawed either, but they're very good. They would only use their claws if I tried picking them up (which they hate), so I just leave them alone and only pet them when they come over to me.

They rarely use their claws on us. Most of the time we get scratched while playing with them.

And the kittens are adorable. My cat carries stuff around, just like Smokey.
He once stole a ton of Halloween candy and made a hidden stash in our closet. o.O;

Wow, that's really funny!

Our cat loves carrying his toys around and dragging stuff. One time he dragged a towel across a room and proceeded to make himself comfy in his chosen spot.

I caught Mr. Hissy Butt on a good day. He can look very evil.

Bagheera and Midnight use to do carry stuff off a lot when they were kittens. Midnight once stole one of my mom's rings and hid it some where. We still haven't found it.

My friend's cat dragged her bra out into her living room while her friends were all hanging out. xD;

I have had puppies drag underware out from my dirt laundry pile and bring them into the dinning room or living room. Then usually end up having to chase them to get it back.
