You should try to get the pin at the auction if you have the gold saved up.

Right now I'm currently trying to get a crown at the auction and failing. I'm going to wait until tomorrow and see what bids are up before I try bidding anymore. If the crowns are too much I might try for the V-day pendant because right now no one is bidding on it.
