I can't tell you what I think of her appearance-wise when I can't see her face.
My opinion is though, if you have a good personality, you're beautiful, no matter how you look.

Now I think I am pretty some daysn and others not. It takes time to start seeing yourself as pretty when You never believed you were! I mean it's the same thing you have been looking at every day for years! Your so used to it it's hard to think of it as something differnt then you thoght before! Even as you change you don't really notice becuase they happen slowly and you don't really notice.

Keep encouraging your friend! Don't bombard her with it and always say it in the sinseriest way! If she is down because she thinks she is ugly help her feel better about herself. And some times you want to hear it from someone other then your friends of family because you think they say it only becasue they love you!

From what I can see she doesn't look ugly. Her hair is nice, it's not an icky texture or cut, and I love the color. I envy people with darker brown/black hair.

I have a lot of really pretty friends who think they're ugly. It makes me sad.

Its just that they have low self esteem. v3v;

I think she's a fox. If I were gay and if she were more my age (she looks quite young, yes? 16, 17?) then I'd do her.

Lots of girls put themselves down, I know I used to. It's the kinda thing you do when you want assurance that you are beautiful. She probobly knows she's pretty deep down on the inside but is just afraid of what everyone else would think. It's like a defense mechanism, you know, if you think your ugly then you won't be hurt if someone else thinks so too.

But It's important to learn to love yourself nomatter what though. And if it takes a whole thread full of people to make that happen then I'm in!
