It basically boils down to inflation still happens.
P o i P o i i i: That's not necessarilt true. It's up to the users to not cause the inflation. Also, artificial inflation can still happen with just the exchange.

Narim: AIs are a lot more obvious in the exchange, unlike the MP, there's too many of them and you can't even find the source.

I don't think an MP would be nearly so bad as you're making it out to be. I would hate to see the items inflate, but they're going to eventually anyway.
I would at least like to see an MP for commons. I don't usually like to buy them at store price and it can be difficult to find a seller.
