To Kill A Mocking Bird.
There is a little boy they have over for supper in one scene who hardly ever gets anything to eat, so he asks for syrup to put all over his supper. (That alone made me want to sob, because the boy just wanted to make his food sweet- not getting to eat often, he must have been drooling). And then the little girl makes fun of him and he gets embarresed. Which made me want to sob even more. Poor boy.

Awww...that is sad. T_T

I can't recall if I've read that book before. For some odd reason I kept confusing it with I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings...

@TK: Oh, that's right! I forgot. How could I forget something like that? Especially since I worked night shift for so many years myself. :P

@TK: Well, in one sense, I enjoy night shifts because it's usually quieter and not as many people to deal with, not to mention the interesting things that tend to happen at night. Then again, I enjoy day shifts because I'm actually awake when most of the people are also awake and I can spend some time with them.

Well, if you prefer to wait until you can make your post the way you intended it, that's fine too. Whatever works best for you. :yes:

@Clair: Of course it's true. :yes: If it's not something enjoyable, there's no point in even doing it in the first place. Well, other than work, which is basically a necessity in order to be able to do the things that you enjoy.

Hmm, sounds like they're viewing you as "hard to get". Unfortunately, that type of title puts you at the top of most guy's conquest lists. It sickens me that my own gender acts that way. Makes things more difficult for the good guys like me (I've been told that, even though I'm so perverted, I'm one of the good guys, anyway. And that guys like me are a rare commodity).

It's just weird. I went from being ignored in elementary through college, and now I'm getting asked out the second I MEET some guys. If we all didn't have our name tags, I wouldn't KNOW THEIR NAMES. xD

I don't think there's anything wrong with being perverted in general. We all are in our own ways, no? xD Just some of these guys don't understand boundaries or other people's feelings. All they care about is what they want. D<
