@Aryah: Nah, I've already pretty much stated my point of view. Not much else for me to do on that subject.

@TK: Your Class A's? Yours apparently holds a completely different meaning than mine. :ninja:

@Kat: Well put.

umm... class A's is a uniform reference, hon. Though the mention of ribbons makes the reference a bit clearer, I think. I'm not totally sure what she means, either.

But, google? Really, hon, you better double check the source there before you start pinning.

@Kat: Really? I haven't watched Warehouse 13 in so long! I'm probably at least a couple of seasons behind. :sweat:

@Aryah: Hmm, wasn't aware of that.

@TK: Hrm, the only terms I ever knew for uniforms was "dress" and "fatigues". To me, a "Class A" refers to a type of Commercial Driver's License, which is the type we have to have to drive the tractor trailers.

xD When you mentioned it's not the same, that's what I thought of.

Gosh darnit. I got an award recently so now I have to go and buy a ribbon and a new rack to hold them on. *too lazy to go outside* >_>

Really? You'd think that they'd supply everything you need to show that award on your dress uniform...guess I was wrong. :P

So, what's your rank now, TK?

@Ultima: Nah, they just give you the medal. To reflect it on your uniform, you give the government money for the ribbon. 8D
Still a specialist. I rather like having the shield with the eagle on it. It's special. ;D

@Aryah: It's too much work!!!

@Kat: Yup! On the left side we build up the ribbons for all the stuff you can earn while serving...I had to use this site to figure out which order to put them in. xD

I know! My ex was in the navy, and my sister's in the air force... I know what a pain the uniforms are. Even if I can't put one together. or maybe because I can't?

@Kat: It is...what's annoying is that they have to be exactly centered on you. Of course...females have cleavage, which makes it hard...

@Ultima: xD I'm satisfied with staying in this rank. I don't want to become a babysitter (sergeant).

@Aryah: Oo, what does your sister do in the Air Force?

Oh wow...that must be tough! I hope they both don't end up deployed at the same time. One of my sergeants is getting out because both her and her husband had to do that for a tour and she doesn't want her daughter to go through that again.

@TK: I can imagine. It seems like I must be some kind of sergeant at work. Every time somebody leaves the shop floor, I'm always the one that get's asked "where did so-and-so go?" I usually reply with something along the lines of "Dunno, wasn't paying attention to them. I didn't realize that today was my day to babysit again." :roll:

I hate having to watch over others or anything like that.

@Ultima: LOL! While I understand that sergeants have to be accountable for their soldiers...the way my company treats us is equivalent to BABIES. I'm not a child! I'm an old lady, jeez.

@Kat: Oh no! He wasn't able to see his baby's birth? :(

@Aryah: Haha, trust me...soldiers have terrible teeth. We definitely need dental. 8D Well maybe airmen have better ones? I know a sergeant had to have two of his front teeth removed because they're rotten while another guy has to remove all of them because he has no enamel.
