I pretty much enjoyed doing nothing today. Had to work a twenty four hour shift yesterday that was kind of exhausting.

I FEEL LIKE I CAN CONQUER THE WORLD. I don't know, I suddenly have this drive to go-go-goooo! xD; And that was before the coffee.

Oh man, I remember when my dad had those kinds of shifts. Even if you don't do too much, it's just the fact of being on-call the whole time. x_x Glad you had a breather today!

Last week really bit hard. I had three twenty four hour shifts, one every other day. >_>;; There's no schedule out for September, so I don't know how terrible these next few weeks are going to be. Sigh. Can't believe I would miss twelve hour shifts. :<

Oh man, that sounds brutal. I remember my dad's schedule when he was a paramedic was work 24, off 48. Man, you basically just have the time to recoup your energy from the shift. x_x I hope you don't have a crazy time like that in September. T_T *goes to upload a wip for you*

We were supposed to have a meeting to discuss how we don't want the twenty four hour shifts anymore...but no one wants to listen to us. >_> Basically it's...two medics work 24 hours from 0630 - 0630. They get the rest of the day off and then return the following day, if it's Monday through Friday.

Sigh...a lot of people are going on leave, going to training, or leaving the country to their next duty station. September is going to look uuuugly. D:

I kind of do that, too. Our cable has an on-demand thing, and sometimes they'll have seasons up for various shows. Dial-up =/= watching anything bigger than a typical music video for me, unfortunately. I prefer having a whole season, too, if I'm honest. I like having show marathons. xD

xD I zoomed through 24, Monk, and House like crazy. *flails* Right now I'm just watching House and Bleach. *hides* I really didn't expect to like Bleach...I was stuck on one of the overnight duties when I noticed I had three seasons...watched it and really enjoyed it. The beginning was pretty bad...but then they went to Soul Society and it got cool. >_< *really likes the whole Captain, Lieutenant and Squad stuff* <3

I'm kind of burnt out on Bleach, tbh, but I watch it on CN, which has the "lovely" English dub, and when they get to episodes they haven't dubbed yet, they just go back to episode one. I don't know how many times I've listened to the first two seasons or so. x_x Even my mom is tired of it at this point (this has never happened before, haha). I remember the few episodes I saw while in Tokyo were neat, but they were so far ahead of where I had left off, haha. xD; I need to see if the on-demand thing has House, my friend said it didn't really matter if I watched it out of order. > 3>

There's only a few episodes of House that kind of go in sequence. They're not until...I think season four and five? Otherwise, yeah, you can watch House out of order.

I HAVE NO TALENT. D: My art all looks the same. *hides in shame* I tried to test myself to try new things by mimicking different styles, but that didn't go to well. Phoenix Jubilee art for banners was me trying to draw in the Utena style. Rococo was me trying to draw in the K-on! style. (I didn't really enjoy K-on!, I just thought a simpler style would be a challenge...and it was. *dies* I didn't want to break some habits I have when I draw faces, especially eyes!)

I...cannot watch the dub. xD Some of the voices are fine...but as usual...others are intolerable to listen to. @[email protected];; I'm in season three...about to get into season four soon. 8D

PSSSH. You also forget I went to school for art, so I do have a bit of an advantage there. You were crazy deep in science stuff. T___T And that's neat you're trying different styles out (I'm going through my dA backlog, your stuff is a few pages away still D8 ). Since you seem to be drawing more lately, I'm sure you'll find yourself improving, even if at first glance you don't think so.

It's to the point I kinda just want to punch the t.v. when Orihime is on screen. I think that's who my mom was all "*EYEROLL* CAN WE BE ANYMORE HELPLESS."
