Meh, been a bit of a long day for me, too. Had some chores I had to take care of today. So, even though I had the day off from work today, it didn't really feel like a day off. And, to top it off, I get to open shop in the morning. :sarcasm: Other than that, I'm doing alright.

ugh, I hate that feeling. when a weekend doesn't feel like a weekend, I get very sad. haha, yesterday in spanish the teacher asked to tell her what day of the week it was and I couldn't tell her because I just didn't know the answer in english! the week has been all scrambled for me. I blame labor day.

Well, it might have been a little easier on me if I had gotten two days off in a row this week. But, since it was only one day off, it just seems that much shorter with all the running around I did today.
*heh* Labor Day was just another work day for me. :XP

yeah, that's pretty sad. everyone deserves a weekend and that's two days long people!
I ended up slaving over an art project on labor day and missing breakfast and lunch. not the day off I was looking for!

Hrm, looks like my DL is FINALLY completed.

Well, it's not like I didn't get two days off this week. It's just that my first day off was Sunday, and my second day off was today. I'd rather my days off be together, but that's not always possible with a rotating schedule like I have.

lol, was it taking forever?
hm, I see. it doesn't really feel like a weekend though if its split up.
ICK! I knew putting red paint on my painting was a bad idea! but did that stop me? no.....

Yeah. Usually, it only takes about 3 minutes on average for me to DL a single chapter. But, a couple of the DL servers are severely populated tonight, so it took about 10 times as long to DL that chapter... :XP
No, not at all. Of course, the guy who makes the schedule doesn't really seem to understand that.

I see. I'd get impatient and give up. :/
I like places that aren't open every day. that way there's always going to be some day off no matter what. at least that wouldn't change every week and all. the glazing studio I applied to was like that.

Yeah, I've got some patience, but not much. I sat through one long-ass DL, but I won't sit through another one that long tonight.
Pfft! The place I work at is too greedy for that. We're open for business every day of the year save for 3 days (Christmas Day, Thanksgiving, and Easter). We work during all the other national holidays.

^_^ I have no patience. its amazing I can deal with clay and watercolors. watching paint and/or clay dry is BORING!
yeah, that's uncool. this is a world of money though.

 That's why I usually do something else whenever I'm waiting for paint to dry. Then again, I don't use the same kind of paint that you do, either.
Yeah, that's true. But only for the big wigs that get to sit on their asses all day up in those A/Ced CEO offices. The little guys like me that actually do all the work are the ones that get shafted come payday... :XP

hairdryers. ^^ they make paint dry nice and fast!!! hahah, I forgot mine at home though. watercolor dries pretty quick, but you really have to wait for each layer to dry before you paint another or it won't show.
....that might be true too. everyone just makes money the way they can. greed is human nature. who really wants to even all the money out so there aren't some rich and some not? :ninja: sounds like communism.....

Hrm, never tried that trick before. Then again, with the type of paints that I tend to use, I doubt using a hairdryer would be beneficial.
I dunno. All I know is that it doesn't matter how much complaining anybody does, since nothing really changes anyway. I mean, the tax laws and such are designed to benefit the ones that already have large sums of money, not the ones that have to bust their butts on a daily basis just to make a buck. Of course, this is something that gets denied every time it gets brought up.

what kind of paint do you use? heat guns are fun too. >.< they're more dangerous.

I thought they were trying to fix the taxes so they didn't befit the rich so much?

I typically use automotive paint. Usually a two-part base coat and clear coat. I occasionally use acrylic paints too, though.

True, that's what they're saying. But you know that the rich are going to fight those changes with everything they have.

I wouldn't know about automotive paint, but hairdryers are an acrylics painters best friend sometimes.

I would too if I were rich I think. :ninja:

Not when the item getting painted has corners and crevices and such. Plus, unless you have a paint booth, using hairdryers or anything similar can blow dust, dirt, or other particles onto the surface before the paint dries.

Yeah, if there's one thing the rich typically hate, it's equality between social classes.

hrm, I guess so. then I guess you just have to stare at the paint to make it dry.

well, maybe not equality so much as giving up what they have. it would all be hunky-dory is a mysterious outside force gave the poor what they needed!!

Either that or ignore it while it dries. ;)

Which would mainly be social status. True, but there aren't many "mysterious outside forces" that are willing to help the not so wealthy.

Kat- Hrm, the Vulcans are a race of reason and intelligence, aren't they? I doubt that money concerns would be deemed logical by them.

And hi. ^__^ I left you a post Dimi. *pokes back*
