Well I lost a human being...and I always wondered what happened to them? They just sorta vanished one day.

I had this friend of many years. He lived in California. We were just friends cause as you know I am happily married and he had a live in girlfriend. Anyway, we would chat on the phone or online at least 4 or 5 times a week.

So I had to go on a trip for work. That morning I chatted with him in IM and he said I will talk to ya when you get back. When I got home 5 days later I went to send him an E-mail and it said that screen name didn't exist. I thought well that's weird, but I knew of six other names so I sent to all those...all gone.

So I called his house, no answer, no answering machine, nothin. I called for over a month every day and then suddenly the phone was disconnected. He owned a business. I called, the business was gone. I finally drove to California and went to his house. Someone else owned it and lived there. They had no idea what happened to him.

I searched and searched and I couldn't find him or his girlfriend anywhere. I have done websearches on some pretty extensive search engines, and nothin. I have no clue whatever happened to him. I never heard from him again. That was 9 years ago.

I know. The only thing I could ever come up with that made any kind of sense was that something happened and they had to go into the witness protection program. Because their whole lives were shut down too fast.

@Seito/Blondheart: Hate to say it...but the SF just proves it's impossible to please some people. >_>; We'll keep changing things, and it's never enough for some. xD I never bothered venturing in there as a member either. And when there's drama...well...*runs away*

I had another person vanish many years before but we figured he met with foul play.

I made a post in SF the other night. Some new girl gave feedback on how she didn't like this place. I felt I was pretty reasonable and didn't verbally flog her like some people did.
