That is exactly why I am hanging onto my first event items and contribution items like a sloth.

@'Riku: Just to be safe, if you ever have to oppurtunity to get two or more of a limited edition item, I'd recommend it. xD That's from experience too.

I think redistributing those items will be a bad idea,

it'll cause chaos (since people earned so much gold to get their stuff)

I'd be against items getting re-released, and I'm all for banned accounts getting their items sold so that no donation items are lost to ghost accounts in cyberspace. xP

I'm quite against contribution items and other limited items being re-released, pretty much for the same reasons that other people have been listing. It's unfair for the people who donated real money for the items and for people who worked hard to get their items.

I'm iffy about re-colouring items as well because they'd still have a large impact on the price of the original item.
Releasing a cheaper looking version of the item would be alright, but I think it's too early to be thinking about that. :P CIs only started a few months ago.

Putting items from banned accounts back into the economy is a nice idea but as long as they are done so slowly.

It'd ruin the economy, and so many people would be upset about using so much gold to get an item only for it to go for so much lower later. Even though it would favor me, I'm against it.

Plus, recolors would lower the values of the original, and it would be so bleh. And it shouldn't be done any time soon, since there are so many ideas yet to have been created that so many want for CIs.

I like what Valedia had to say about it.
While I too don't think they should be re-released, selling those that are on permanently banned accounts would be a good idea.

I think that it would be very unfair to the older users who had to work hard to pay a lot of money for an item only to have it be available again for a lot less.

We worked for them, why shouldn't the newbies do the same?
Besides, there are plenty of other affordable items they could get too.

I do agree with what valedia said though, I think items should be pulled off banned accounts to re-sell, to prevent items becoming so inflated that they're practically unattainable in the future.

I think it would really screw things up. I mean they aren't great as it is but this wouldn't help.

I wouldn't mind them rereleasing any items. I like it when sites rerelease items. That way prices drop, at least for a little while, and new people or people who didn't not have enough money the first time they were released have a chance to get them. I really think all sites should rerelease some items once in a while. It's a good way to keep the economy in check.

I wouldn't mind them re-releasing old items. I think it would be good for the new users and make it so that old items would be possible to obtain. Why try and be another gaia like site? Forgive me for saying. I like both sites though. XD

i would want a Angelic Pendant (or some form of pendant, theirs like only 2 on Gaia >>;; ) i had done a quest on it but gave up on it a few months ago now because i was fed up and not getting anywhere currently.

and about the whole economy thing it depends really, i think if the item is as expensive as pendant itself is then no it wouldent.

and about the people who saved up hard for them well.. in my pov i think it wouldent be unfair, after all when they save up for something on a quest and spend their gold on it all the gold gets wiped out and gone.

and they could always spend their gold on other items X3

if your talking about this place having that kind of thing... i dont think it will go down well, its still early days yet and its up to the people who runs this site on how things work, like on Trickster they dont allow people to trade myshop items for gelder.

the reason for this is because people fear everybody wont donate to the site, so they dident build a trade system thing for it, and because of this when people DO trade myshop items over for gelder they get scammed!

so yea its up to the person who owns this sites decision weather they do it or not!

Well, awwwright. I say that I like more color variation with different things, I would support that, as long as the items appeared kind of different from the original items. Like, but also, I dunno, I like the idea of taking the items off the banned accounts, since it does get those items back into rotation, but I guess it's a lot of work and stuff. xD :shock: :? :o

As long as it didn't hurt the economy! xD

thoses selfish people deserve it, of course depending what they was banned for.

like hacking i think they should defently take the items from their acocunt if they hacked somebody, not just for other users to buy it, but also to thoses who lost thier items through hacking!

Well, I think that those people who got their items hacked should be able to get their items back from those accounts, not resold, because it was originally their stuff. xD I think it should be taken from users who's accounts are banned for stuff that's like, not even easy to try and get their accounts back, kind of a thing. :shock: :?

I dunno, Valedia's post has more info and is better made, but I doubt it'd happen, since it takes a lot to get the items off of banned accounts.
