Um. A rooster is a chicken? o.O;;;;

I used to have three dogs, a parakeet, and 14 chicken. However, the chicken's died in a fire, the parakeet died from unknown causes and one of the dogs died from age. So now it's just two dogs. I really want another parakeet, though.

i have a kitty <3
her name is boo and shes about a year and a half old now. shes the most awesome cat ever. and shes really feisty! shes so playful it drives alot of people crazy but i love her all the more for it.
i had 2 chickens a while ago as well, but they both died of old age. </3 they were awesome as well. buff orpingtons, simpley beautiful blonde birds.
and i have 2 ducks. reuins. theyre a bigger breed of mallards. french i think. one male named buddy, one female named shorty. theyre cute.. but getting old as well and not nearly friendly. its kinda sad...but i guess i like them too. XP when the male isnt going after me to get me out of 'his' yard.

Can the person with the pregnant fish take pictures?! I don't think I've ever seen a fat pregnant fishie.

Ugg. My dogs like to pretend they're guard dogs, so when ever someone walks/bikes up or down the road, they go INSANE with the howling. And it doesn't stop once the person is out of site. Oh no, they keep going.

Ooo! Good idea for a thread! I could talk about my pets all day! hehe :D
I have one dog, a min-pin. Her name is Nikki. I will post a pic of her later. She is the light of my life. I also have a cat, her name is Mysty. Such a sweetheart! And I have a guneia pig. Her name is Syndey. My little QT pie!

One thing is all of these pets dont live with me. :cry: They all live with me parent back home where I moved from. I live alone in a different state. I come to visit them often. :) I SO miss them when I dont get to see them, like now. :( My Mom will send me some pics now and then....

Why can't your pets live with you? That's so sad. I keep forgetting that next year I'm going away to college, and might not be able to bring my dog with me. That's going to be something that I look for in apartments- able to have pets!

Hello all.~

I've got an outdoor aviary that houses 16 birds, plus a smaller gazebo cage that is currently holding two Zebra Finches that refuse to breed, ha. I own: 2 Red Rump Parakeets, 2 Bourke's Parakeets, 6 pied Zebra Finches, and 8 Canaries. They're all extremely tame, the canaries even take rides on my feet when I walk into the cage.

Thanks! They can't live with me b/c I am not the sole owner of them. My parents own them as well. My Mom told me once they move down here to FL, I will get to have Nikki, (my dog) and keep her with me. Of course that may be a few more years. They want to wait untill my dad retires untill they move here.

Ahhhh! I would LOVE to have that! I really like birds a lot, especially parrots and parakeets. I want a Quaker parrot, but they're illegal in my state (sad sad). I'm thinking that next year, after I move for college, I'm going to get myself either another parakeet (the small, normal pet store type) or a cockatiel. Which I spelt wrong, I bet... But I love those birds.

@Moonlight Silver - Why are Quaker parrot's illegal where you live? And what kind of parakeet did you have in the past? If your thinking about getting another one, look into the Bourke species. They are a little more expensive, but they have sweet and docile personalitys, plus they're not as noisy and won't chew up everything in sight.

I googled images of those Bourke parakeets... eh. Not really to my liking. I'm not sure what type of parakeet I had- I bought him at a pet store, and they just said he was a parakeet.

There's two pictures of him, though. And really, I love the noisy birds. Not the squawking, but the singing! My parakeet LOVED to sing, and he made such beautiful noises. It made me so happy when he would sing to me. <33

Oh. And I'm not exactly sure why Quaker's are illegal. I believe it has to do with them getting loose earlier in time, and just mass populating in cities and telephone lines and other places they just shouldn't be. D= So they're considered invasive, I believe.
