I love to pick up toads outside my house when I see them. They're cute! I have also picked up snakes and wild baby squirrels and brought them into my grandmother's house. She didn't appreciate that very much. XD;;

I've got a river otter that walks through my yard every once in awhile since my neighbour has a pond. Sometimes when she has pups she carries them across the driveway, so adorable.^^

Moonlight: I'm so scared of toads and frogs. It's because after reading all of those traditional fairy stories that most girls read a little kids in my family, my sister told me that frogs/toads ate little fairies. It scared me a lot, and the avoidance became a phobia.

Steve: The only animals that come to my back yard either eat something in it or get eaten >_> I think my back yard's cursed.

Pallas: Aww, otters <3 She sounds really adorable. Lucky D:<

Where do you live that there are otters?! That's crazy.

I wish wildlife would stay OUT of my backyard. My dogs are beagles... that means they're hunting dogs, and when they see something they howl at it. So when the squirrels, turkeys, deer, coyotes or bobcats go through the yard, the dogs go off. It's annoying as hell!

Lucky~ I only get squirrels/birds/neighborhood dogs or cats going through my yard.

Though when I was younger, I lived near the woods. Deer would eat in my yard, I'd see rabbits, and sometimes turkeys. And skunks D:< Those weren't so great.

I have two adorable cats. They're calico and they are sisters. I got them from the SPCA when they were still tiny kittens and I've had them for about a year and a half. Their names are Serena and Ami. Ami is my fat little chubberball kitten who likes to sleep, eat and be lazy. Serena is the skinny little fireball who would love to run around the room on the walls if she could. Serena is also more affectionate, she is the one to come seek me out for cuddletime and has no problem climbing all over me in the morning meowing in my face for breakfast. Ami is much more reserved and loves feet. :P

Your cats sound so cute <3

My grandparents have cats, but there's only one that I love. He's called Pandy (he's white and black, and if he were fatter, he'd sort of look like a panda bear). He loves sweets, and whenever I'm over there, he'll sit in front of the door of the room I'm in and will make an angry meow whenever anyone tries to come in.

Though I can't stand cats for long. After a while, their scent starts to irritate my sinuses.

@Suteki - Ha, my cat was named Pandy too! She was a longhaired calico though, originally her name was Pandora but we ended up shortening it. We had her outdoors, and when she wanted food she'd knock on the door with her claws. Gosh I miss her. She had these really big paws, and all her siblings had extra toes.

Steve: No wonder. The USA has no meese :c.

Pallas: Wow o: My grandparents have had 3 cats named Pandy so far. The first one was sold, the second one ran away, the third is still alive :3

His original name was something else that I forget. They changed it four times until they found something that he responded to.

And no cat that I've seen had extra toes o: That's pretty spiffy seeming.

Yes, they all had two extra toes on their paws, except for Pandy. Made them look quite comical, but it does help with climbing.

- Some animals seem to respond better when theres that 'e' sound at the end of their name, or at least thats what I've found.

I see~ I wasn't sure of the practical use of extra fingers, or if it would actually harm them. Silly polydactyl-ness.

And now that you think of it, you're right. Any animal that has the "e" sound responds quicker to me, if it's mine. But then again, I tend to own pretty clingy animals.
