Parasite: Wow, those are a lot of pets o.o;; Though they're probably very fun to have n__n
Steve: You too o: But more so than that, I so want one of those balls that hamsters would run around in, but I think it'd get troublesome if I couldn't get out :c

I have 4 cats
Scarlett, 8 year old longhair domestic
Mia, 5 year old lilac point Birman
Rino, 2 year old chocolate point Birman
Armani, 1 year old lilac point Birman
I've had lots of different kinds of animals before; gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, birds, fish and chinchillas. I could never have any animals like that now though, I think cages are horrible :(

Yay! Pet lovers unite!
Glad to see I'm not the only one with a zoo. XD
I've had some pretty interesting stories in regards to a huge stray kitten population that our street had this year, but I will talk of that later. XD
Right now, our houses consists of:
1 toy poodle
1 half german/australian shepherd
annddd *drum role*
6 cats :!:
We use to have 5 cats for years. My baby (our eldest) died this last April. A month later, on Mothers Day, I found my kitten. It was as if he were sent to me on Mothers Day, as my baby. XD
And now for a month, we rescued a white/orange kitten from near death, on our front porch. The poor thing would have died most certainly, if we did not rescue it.
So that makes a total of, 8 pets total. ;)

We used to have a beta that lived in some bamboo. My husband named the fish Carl and the bamboo Bob. We actually moved Carl in a clear travel coffee mug when we had to drive from California to North Carolina. He did great on the trip, but we did get some odd looks from the hotel staffs. ^^;
But now we just have our puppy. Well, she'll be a year old on October 11th. Shes a poodle beagle mix, and is chocolate brown with a white stripe down her chest and white back paws. Shes so adorable and the worst part is, she knows it. Like tonight! My husband and I ran out to a burger drive thru as a last minute deal, and she was in the car. As soon as we pulled up to the window she does the cute act, and the guy actually gave us a free burger made just for her! I couldn't beleieve it! The worst part is that people try to give her treats all the time. Its actually gotten so bad thats she s on weight control food. I try to ask people not to treat her, but 9 times out of 10 they still sneak her a little something. Any one else ever have this problem?

Lots of pets here.
4 cats
4 dogs
3 horses
1 bearded dragon
Fish:
4 dwarf platys
2 female bettas
1 red tail shark
1 shubunkin goldfish (going to a friend's pond soon, tho)
3 reg. size platys
20ish mollys black, silver, and dalmation
2 variatus.
When my goldfish moves out we are going to get some swordtail fish for my big tank.
Oh, yeah, and I have a small 2 gallon tank w/baby fish in it. The Nursery. Don't really count them until they are big enough to go w/the rest of the fish.
Sorry for all the fish talk - I work in the fish department of my store so it's literally my life right now.

...my pet rabbit died two days ago. He wasn't my only pet, but I feel at a loss. It's so sad to find your pet dead. I was attached the most to him, and he actually liked me back (more than I could say for a couple of my other rabbits). So, in loving memory... Touzo.

I'm sorry SSCeles. I know how hard it is to lose a loved pet. Here's to Touzo :)
I have a 1 1/2 year old Australian Shepard named Edisun. I love her to death :) Although I've grown up with dogs in the house, she's the first one that's truly mine. I adopted her when she was 3 mos old from the ASPCA, and we've been inseparable since. She's also the only animal I've ever had to pay for to receive (even though the money went to a good cause!)When she howls her voice still cracks, so it comes out like a high pitched whining sound, it's so cute!
Currently I also have a 13 year old mix breed named Donut. My uncle rescued him in NY from behind a Dunkin Donuts with his brother. So, one was named Dunkin, the other Donut ;) He's the sweetest animal I've ever met. He has hip displacement problems, his front legs are bowlegged, and he's going blind in both eyes, but he still acts like a puppy!
We also have a 7 year old cat named Tuesday. She looks like a Russian Blue, but I'm pretty sure she's a mix as well. We found her in our backyard after 3 boys were chasing her on their bicycles. She's so sweet to the family, but to anyone else she runs and hides. Understandably she's so frightened of everything, I'm guessing because how she was treated before we got her.
And of course the fish ;) I have two Oriental Fighting Fish, guess they call them bettas too. Two males in one of those split tanks. Hoping to breed them one day, I think it would be fun to try!

How funny earlier today after yelling at my cat I thought I wonder if there is a pet forum on Mene... I was going to start one but I got really busy afterwards >.<
Like I said I have a cat...Her name is Mirri.. She is driving me NUTS lately she has broken a bunch of my sentimental ornaments around the house... She gets into everything and tears it up... Like paper towels, toilet paper, the babies bassinet and crib are the worst though... She is constantly after the mobile on the crib... Plus I can't clean out her litter box and it stinks all the time (it does get cleaned but only once a week) She is such a naughty kitty... She is also kind feisty with Michael so I am debating on getting rid of her... I love her but it is hard enough for me to keep up on the house alone with me and Michael but she makes it nearly impossible... she makes more mess then my three year old... Which is bad... Really bad.... Everyday I come home and something else is broken or torn up >.< ranting today I swear it is my thing...
I also have a fish tank with one fish and three cleaner fish... I was going to sell it cause I can't seem to keep the fish I buy alive for some reason and no one can tell me why but then there was a baby born in the tank and he has survived so I don't know what I am going to do with my 30 gallon tank with four fish >.<

@avicat- Awww, your dog sounds so cute <3 Does she have blue eyes, or brown? *would love to see apiccy*
@Jaz- Wow....thats...kinda bad. ^^; I wonder if she just doesn't like children. I can't imagine how stressful that must be to have a cat that makes more mess than a 3 year old. Although I have never gotten rid of an animal, it does sound like she is a handful. I hope she is declawed if she gets rowdy with your son.

I hate the thought of getting rid of any of my animals in some cases (like the fish) it is better for them... Cause my son is causing them harm by trying to feed them things that are just NOT food... But in the case of the cat it is her against me and my son (I hate to say it like that but it is true)... I can't change her litter because of the risk it puts on my pregnancy at risk...And all the people who PROMISED to help have seemed to disappear into the woodwork... She isn't declawed or spayed all she has is her first shots (which is my fault because I got her like 2 months before I found out I was pregnant and I had the extra money to get all of that out of the way when it comes to it now I have an armload of prenatal fees plus getting ready for the baby all pretty costly endeavors. So she is pushed to the way side.) My son loves her to death and unfortunately that is what tears me apart. To get rid of her would lesson his owies and getting chased by her but it would hurt him as well. So I really don't know what I should do!
