The amount of gold you earn per post varies on the length of your reply.
the longer the reply, the more gold you get for it.

I guess the General Discussion forum would be the closest thing to the Chatterbox. However, pointless posts are not allowed anywhere on Menewsha.

It is pretty hard. It took me a while until I had clothes. xD It's good in a way I suppose... so you're not completely bored. You have to "quest" for items. At least it gives you time to plan. xD

It's really hard for me, because I'm like an anti-post person. xD But, it gives me much more to do than Gaia, even though my usual habit of just reading will go down the drain. Lurking is like my thing, and now I have to post. I guess I'll have to come out of my box sometime, ne?

In my opinion, it depends on activity on the site, as for people talked about descender should be giving you more chances to get gold, the game isn't suppose to be your daily income of gold. If you don't post, or hate to post, then you can't expect us to help you.

And making friends is nothing wrong, sometimes, but it's fun. ^_^

I don't find much difficulties in aquireing gold.

I dunno what it is, but I have a fear of posting. D: I just get all scared that something will be wrong with it and I end up scrapping the whole post. Which is why I'm on Gaia so much; I can get gold for lurking. Here... I am being forced to overcome my fear and hope that everyone just ignores what I say.

When I started Gaiaonline, I also was a lurker, then I became more social, and started posting, I made alot of friends, actually friends were the main reason why I stayed in Gaia.

But it's pretty good here, I just think people are to into Gaia, and don't know how other forums like this work, if you go around Zantarni, Spirits or Arca, Ten Kabuto, and such. I doubt you will find a way to get gold like you do on Gaia. ^__^;

But it's nothing wrong, I just post around, unless I find nothing that I find interesting. As long as you don't post spam, your fine. ^_^

I have a lot of friends on Gaia that I talk to a lot. But that's only because I was really active in a game with them, and we got to know each other.

I hadn't really been on a forum besides Gaia in the past, so when one of my friends told me he used this site a lot, I was all "Oh, awesome! Another place like Gaia!" And I was totally wrong. Not that I hate it here; oh no, it's much more fun that Gaia has been lately. But I was not expecting to have to post and all that jzz. It's kind of nice, though.

I'm not much for spamming. Spam tastes horrible, anyway.

I personally love how strict Josh is with the rules, I just makes me happy.

And do remember, that Gaiaonline was like this in the past, except with a different layout and what not, in the end, it was a forum based site, like it was suppose to be, now people use it for other purposes. Spamming and stuff, it's just lame.

Oh, I know Gaia used to be like this. The mods used to be so much stricter than they are now, and there wasn't so much Ugh to the forum. I remember some of the earlier things well, and I miss them.

I hope Menewsha doesn't end up like Gaia with a ton of spam and not a lot of rule enforcing mods.

I like the mods here, very fast responding, and there's alot on at a time, except like, an hour a day, when, it's all users. o_o;

Yeah, it makes you work hard for your gold which is both fun and annoying. At least now I know I won't be so quick to sell any of my items. :D

I have to agree that it feels REALLY difficult to earn gold here; like you, I'm used to Gaia and the ways of earning gold there. But I'm starting to get hte hang of things, and basically just roam around the various threads adding my two cents when and where I feel it's warranted. It's making me far more social than I typically am.

And if I feel later that my post was stupid or silly, I don't revisit that thread to avoid seeing any potential flames :P

It is hard for me to to think about writing really long posts. I usually get money by playing the games. I will definitely have to resist the urge to spend my money on little things and save up for the really cool items! There are some really nice clothing items on here. :D

Some of the items are amazing! Once I get this first outfit complete, I'm going to go for an Emerald Lolita Dress--5000 gold was just too much to plan for since I'm just stating out. Well, that's what I'm going to save for if something better doesn't come along :-P
