I was studing for my French test when I made my username. It means Beautiful Moon.

Well...back when I started Gaia, 2004 or 2005.....I was trying to come up with a username. I didn't feel confident about any "normal"-ish...ones I had come up with. I was really into Lord of the Rings at the time, and loved the sound of elvish. I started researching it, and learned that Tolkein had basically mixed Latin and...I want to say Swedish...I have forgotten by now. Anyways, I found dictionaries for the different dialects of elvish (I think mine comes from Sindarin...no sure anymore though, it has been a while).
Anyways, I started pairing words together....and I liked how aneru sounded. "An" means for and "eru" is God. Soo...aneru, meaning "for God". I wasn't intending to be religious but....
What was funny is later I found that is basically the meaning of an "avatar", is the "embodiment of a diety".
So yeah, that is the history of my username. I use it on Gaia, Menewsha, Solia, and will use it on any others. It is entirely unique, and I have never run into anyone with any variation of it.

Maybe it's from utter FAILING with Japanese particles that I came up with kokonimo. It was just a fun thing to say~ koKonimo, Kokonimo, kokoNimo, kokoniMO, and so on and so forth...

Like, last year, I started saying "desshou," just as a thing to say, not serious or anything about it. About a couple weeks later, I found out that "desshou" was actually a real phrase. So thus, it wasn't as fun to say anymore. Sad day.

So until I find "kokonimo" in a Japanese dictionary, it's my new favorite word. Happy day. :)

For my own pleasure, people, please do not inform me that it's a real word. I like kokonimo and I don't want to not like it cuz it's a real word. Well, actually, please do! I'm curious to see if such a thing exists! xD

My username is my nickname actually. Its been my nickname since I was like 14, it came from an RP, my firend and I wanted names in Japanese that matched, she was Tenchi (Heaven and earth) and I was Tenshi (Angel). So I've kept it, I even have it tattoed to my upper back.



The japanese Kanji with the wings around it says "Tenshi" which in English means angel :D

My username's been around since the first season of Inuyasha aired on Adult Swim. I was so into it when I didn't know that it was going to be mostly filler. Anyway, being the... preteen (maybe...) i was, I was going through the "I want to sound tough so I'll use the word dark in my username" phase. I also love wolves, so I of course added wolf in. However, darkwolf was and still is a common username so, being the Inuyasha fan I was at the time, I added youkai (demon) to the end. Youkai was also probably part of my "I want to sound tough" phase. So, now I just use it everywhere even though it's lost it's almost 90% immature purpose of sounding tough.

My name comes from my Fav movie. ^^

My username is based on one of my OCs and one of the most controversial figures in most religions...Lucifer. Daemon is the term for a Fallen Angel, where as a Demon is a featherless winged being with horns and a much nastier attitude. In my story and belief, Lucifer is not the Devil, but a very high ranked individual in Hell...so he is not an actual Demon, but a Daemon. And Lucifer was already taken, so i had to spice my username up a bit...

Having a popular username or identity to associate with can be annoying because most sites have someone who already took what you wanted.

I don't know that you could call my username awesome or even spiffy, but it has meaning to me at least...

I made up the name Vamien...it is the name of my favorite character (that I also made). He is the deepest one I have, and I just like his general looks and personality.

my best friend gave me the nickname aki, which means autumn in japanese, because i love autumn. she loves winter, so she is yokan. then i took the word kisaki, which means queen. so i'm the queen of autumn! lol

well, I thought, I am a ranga, I am a guy and therefore rangaboy, I added 227 because I like the number because it rolls off the tongue

Actually I was plastering my room with crazy things I found in magazines... ads, articles, covers.... and Fauxreal was part of a small ad and I just thought it sounded great! I was going to use it as a band name... ((can a person collect band names?)) Well. I was looking for a different screen name and Fauxreal kinda stuck. <3

I've always had this obsession with Zombies, so for the past....two years? I've had 'Cherry Flavoured Zombies' as my hotmail account, (and still do), and it was my GaiaOnline user-name for about two years as well, but I recently decided that since I reaaally don't like Cherries, that I would change it to a fruit that I like: Thus, Kiwi came into my username about two months ago.

I don't know why I decided to add flavour to zombies, but I did. :P And I loved it.

And so...Kiwi Zombie Lala came to me because I didn't want to put 'flavour' in, so it became 'kiwi zombie' and I wasn't quite sure what else to put, I tried a few different things, and when I got to 'Lala' it sounded really cute, so it stuck. (:

My name is Kim. I've always loved Japanese words and names. So, I did Kimiko; and then Shinka, I believe means evolution. Sounded neat to me :o)

I'm a huge fan of Guilty Gear and I just LOVE Dizzy. She's both powerful and innocent and cute and sexy, all in ONE package, which is exactly what I want to be.

So, I basically created a name that means (in Japanese) Demon of the Angels or something similar to that. I think it sounds powerful and dualistic, and at least since it's all in Japanese, it's not TOO "weeaboo" sounding (like japanese plus english usernames).

My username came from one of my favorite anime called Bleach. Yachiru is so adorable with Kenji in the series and I fell in love with her =]

I like short names so I'm glad this wasn't taken :D

Normally I use things like Numinous, that are somewhat long and isn't very probable to have them taken at a website with a lot of users.

This one comes from my surname, it's just playing with letters and changing some places for them... and voila, cute new username!

I was thinking about Sesshomaru's fluff, and how soft it supposedly is. Plus I'm in love with down comforters :3
