Lyra is the name of the protagonist in the series "His Dark Materials" - the made the first book into a movie, "The Golden Compass". I just adore her, she is so smart and brave to go helping all the kids and doing what she does simply because she thinks it's right. But there's always a dark side to everyone, as there is with me, so thus the "black heart". ^_^

There was an elven type character in this mmorpg game I played a while ago with this name and I've been fond of it since.

"The Anomalistic Beauty"
It's a nickname a friend gave me a long, long time ago.
He used to say that I was a living anomaly, and that I was a true beauty. (Originally he would just call me Beauty. IRL as well as online. Then he added the anomaly part.) Not because of physical appearance, but my personality.

I changed the spelling because I used to not know how to spell the word "anomoly" correctly. lol It just kind of stuck.
I still use it as my user-name on most all sites in memory of him. He died 3 years ago and this name is my link to him.

I've been using Spandex Pudding almost everywhere I go! If I can't do the full thing I just do SpandexPudin or Spandex Puddin..

I don't know were it came from, but it was a random thing one day and I fell in love with it since then!! :D

My username started as a username for one of my current blogs. It's based off one of my roleplay characters from an original story I created in middle school.

Albie is short for albino, lol its a nick name i have fair skin.

My username is the name of an old OC of mine.

Her first name is the name of one of my favorite characters from the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind (Cara the Mord Sith) and her surname is from a character in the Star Wars expanded universe (Siri Tachi).

My name isn't all that original :P
It consists of my real name: Jasper, and what I learnt during History that Von in a name means that they are of noble or high class or something. And Vampires. I was also inspired by Vampires.
Viktor came from Star Trek believe it or not :oops:

my user name was derived from the background story of halo. blackout was one of the lost spartans so i thought it was it cool so i stole it.

Moonshine has been a name that has followed me around for the last couple of years ever since I tried my hand at wine-making. I bough the kit and ingredients and things off of the internet and was as happy as a pig in- anyway, so as I was making my homemade alcohol my friends started to get this really amuseing idea that I was sort of like your everyday hillbilly.
So after my first batch of wine, or as they called it, moonshine, was made the name sort of stuck. So I am pretty much known as Moonshine-Mazza now.
I decided to leave the Mazza part off of my username as I was feeling lazy and didn't really want my real name online then. Well, not on here, but then I found out someone else was allready called Moonshine. I didn't want to spend ages thiking of another name I could adopt, one that would not even be personal to me, so I just added the little squiggles to the side to also add a touch of style.
So there we have it. The origin of ~Moonshine~

Kao is from the name Kaoru which is one of my favorite band members in Dir en Grey and Kitty is kinda of a nickname and I have a couple of people say I act like a cat lol thus you get KaoKitty!! X3

My username was actually sort of stolen from a friend.

When I was younger, my friends and I would bounce around from site to site and we'd pretend to be each other and pull pranks each other. I loved pretending to be this girl Nikki, and she would get so MAD at me. So I was "The Real Nikki". Always the real one. And people believed me because I changed all my account names to Nikki. She became "ohai I'm Katie" and has fun pretending do be me.

Six years later, I'm the real nikki. Plus it throws off creepers. Thing is, my real friends think I'm a creeper for stealing some girls name. I don't care. I'll name my daughter Nikki and it'll be cool in the end.

Cora is my daughters name....and Lorington just seemed to fit xP

um i was laughing at what rain was in Lebanese cause i was talkin to my leb. freind and i was like that would be a cool user name so thats what i used and the black was just cause its a good color

I'm not ENTIRELY sure how I got my username, but I've been using it with everything since middle school or high school. I know that one of my friends started calling me Coconut online... and then one day I decided to call myself bakacoconut07 on LiveJournal (bakacoconut was taken). I haven't used a username that wasn't related since then.

i came up with my username lithialollirot. lithia came from lithuim bc i take it and i have a stuter at times so i tried to say and said litha oneday and i stuck with it as a screen name the lollirot came from a jack off jill song that i adore

Put in two letters into my name and took one out, then added the word 'blade' in the name of my Kanda fandom

Mine's from a Coheed & Cambria song, since I'm obsessive over them -- "Hearshot Kid Disaster" is the name of it. Tacking Hearshot onto the front of it makes it a bit lengthy for my tastes, though, so I leave it off. And I thought it was suitable for me, since I've never stopped referring to myself as a kid.
