It's a burden, because you can't refuse; you have no choice, and to make good use of those items, she needs to play.

Besides, it's not like it's the only time it's happened. She gets a lot of stuff she didn't ask for. It may become a bundle of burdens.

But his partner told him to say, "Cheerio, cheerio!" and nod like there was something wrong with his neck. xDDD

And it was to this party, and there was spotted dick, which is some English dessert that looked kind of...icky...but Jackie had to eat it because his partner said it made him seem more polite, and ladies are supposed to be super-polite or something.
