  I live in San Diego. About twenty minutes from the border. So you can't imagine how many Hispanics we have here that crossed the border. I won't say just Mexicans because I studied in Spanish class about how people from other countries use all their money saved up to get to Mexico and cross the border there...etc, etc. Even watched a movie on it, but that's a whole 'nother story. x.x;

  Well, it's a long story.
  Some people [not all] in Latin American countries are very poor and save up enough to get to Mexico, and what they think will help get them across the border. But when they get there, coyotes and others ask for more money etc etc and they end up staying longer [if not forever] in Mexico than they had hoped for because they have to work to get more. :/
  It's actually really sad. If I could remember the name of the movie, I think I'd buy it. But darn my terrible memory. ><
