Digimon is set very much in the future, and is more involved in more radical fantasies and Mech, while Pokemon uses more modern-day things, along with different kind of technologies that would be made available if pokemon were to exist in today's world, like a pokedex, or an iTouch that has an app for tracking pokemon.

They both involve intelligent creatures that aren't humans, but digimon's digimon are more intelligent (as far as I'm concerned), because they can speak and interact more fully with humans, and act the same as a human would (woot, opposable thumbs).
Pokemon are more like animals that are easily domesticated, with a world who respects them. I don't think any of them can say much else than their names, like Pikachu would cry "Pika, pikapi!". Special exceptions would include Shaymin, and other psychic pokemon.


Erm, at least I'm pretty sure that all digimon are intelligent... I seem to remember an episode where there were wild digimon..?

Digimon, digital monsters also refers to the fact that digimon and humans are able to join together in a mech-ish form..

Of course, I only watched about ten episodes of digimon, and watched pokemon when I was smaller, but I still play the games.~ If you'd like to know more, you can look elsewhere xP But, that's about all I have to say.

I wasn't either. My Aunt sent it to me, so I thought I'd try it. Turned out that it sorta went with the outfit I was wearing, so I thought I put some of it on.

I haven't been able to figure out much how to use the armor of order and chaos yet either. Maybe in a day or so I'll play around with them.
