My first console was the Sega Genesis -- I think my mom brought it home when I was six years old. XD Now that I dwell on it, it's a little scary to think that I was that young when I got into playing video games.

Hmm, the first game I played was Sonic The Hedgehog 2. That was lots of fun for me, and I still play it on the odd occasion. <3

We had an NES in the house by the time I was around four or so. Dad claimed it was so he and I could play together, but obviously at that age I wasn't very good so it was mostly his console. But I kept getting better and better at it, so by the age of 6 we pretty much enjoyed it equally. I think we had that system all the way until the Super NES came out, and then we snagged that one. From that system on, I was the video game nerd and he played with me occasionally.

The games I remember playing most often on the NES were Mario Brothers, Mario 2, and Duck Hunt.

• My best friend had a Super Nintendo at his house when I was about 8; I'd always go over and play Duck Hunt and SMB with him for hours. It was so much fun!
  Those ducks pissed me right the hell off though.
  
  The first console I ever had though was the N64, and I still have it [007 was first game].
  Probably why I was grown a Nintendo-fan, we only had a PS2 for a little bit before selling.

Christ i'm feeling slightly old here.... my first "Gaming experience" was the ZX Spectrum which loaded frome cassets. although i had played a PC F1 game before that....

Although those where my first gaming platforms the first game i remember playing really was Sonic the Hedgehog on my best friends MegaDrive. SEGA ftw.

My first gaming experience was the original Donkey Kong (With Jump man!... Later known as Mario). My friend's cousin had it and let me play... Then I wouldn't stop playing... He kept trying to take the game away and I was all "No! I'm still playing! Wait!" ^.^; I believe I was 4... Either early 4s or late 3s... Later I became addicted to Kamikaze duck for the Atari, Pong, as well... Pacman in the arcade and eventually got my very own commodore 64 ^.^; Which I spent much time playing on.

Ah. My FIRST game console was...Playstation.
I think my first games were Spyro the Dragon, Tekken 3, And Grand Turismo 3.
I also played Good, Old Dreamcast. I loved Sonic the Hedgehog, and Spawn on Dreamcast. Awesome...

Banjo-Kazooie. I loved it at the time. It was a nice, simple, easy, colorful adventure game. Of course, now that I'm in high school, it looks really childish. But I can't deny I used to love it.

My first game was the old Dr. Mario, on the NES. :'P

A really old console, before the PS existed. It was my godfathers. I liked to play the disney game, but we also played sonic a lot.

Zelda the original...i was only 3 smacking keys so i wasn't really playin but that was my first experience. my first game i actually knew what i was doing was prolly Zelda: A Link to the Past for the SNES....go zelda ^^

Mario and Duckhunt!! Nes of course ;P

My first experience was.. mario for the nintendo, and duck hunt. Amazing games. Unfortunately I no longer have my Nes, lost in a move, but I still play mario all stars for the snes, and mario kart racing. Oh and Sim City. haha, that game was and still is great.

the first game i played was resident evil 1 on the ps1 and i love it all now,i like all the resi's ,silent hills,tomb raiders

I can't remember well what my first gaming experience was since it was many years ago .. probably like 17 years ago or something and it was that first game boy, the gray heavy box XP with the game super man ...

I got kind of addicted from then on and got my parents to buy me a Nes or Snes ... can't remember which one it was... and from then on...

I became a gamer o.o

Wow that goes back to the days of the Atari...that was like years ago.

I still own my original N64, I started Playing games in 1994ish? Super mario bros. and Mario paint. I still own that SNES and the games, I also own a NES.

My first console experience would've been Pokemon Yellow on a Gameboy. My cousin had a Japanese cartridge so we didn't know what the words said, but I sat there for like, 2 hours and trained his Pidgeot to Level 30. He was really surprised afterwards.

Nentindo has brought out some really wicked systems. I miss playing on alot of them. N64 was one of there best. The NES and SNES just had some uber games on them.

I was introduced to games on the NES with Mario. But I didn't really get into games until playing stuff like Zelda, Metroid, and Megaman.

I still have all my games and the consoles... but they don't work anymore... :[

Super Mario Bros on the NES

We had a nes and would play Super Mario.. we weren't very good my uncle would come over and help use beat the levels and then we would play with the new one till he would come again and beat some more.. Lol

My first truly memorable gaming experience was with the very first Nintendo Games System. I remember Duck Hunt and Super Mario Bros. very fondly as I'd watch my mom play. I was really young back then, so I was awful at the game. I truly had fun fooling around with the Nintendo Zapper with Duck Hunt, though. Oh, how I loved that tacky orange and grey gun and the funny noise it made whenever you pulled the trigger. <3

Mine was the Genesis, with the Aladin game <3 Man, was it fun...
