I don't know if this question has already been asked or not. I was wondering if this "except for previous winners" means that anyone who has won an item or if it means anyone who has won a V-day item.

It means previous winners of the auction I am holding.

Hello Aeris! About the no sniping rule, I dont really get it...So is it like, new people can bid after 20 minutes before the end or is it that even people that were bidding previously cant just come up again and start bidding again?

What is Sniping?

That means that no one who has not previously bid can enter. So lets so, someone at the last minute bids 10k on a hairpin but has not placed any bid yet so far.

That would be considered sniping.

Hmm, given this thread is for reactions/shock and surprise as well as questions; frankly, I'm rather disappointed. Not simply because I lost and I'm being a sore loser, but the fact while all the others seemed to decrease in price as opposed to previous auctions, the hairpin seemed considerably jacked up this time around, as compared to the previous three auctions. The pricey-ness seemed a bit needless (especially the bid wars, which I'm not 100% innocent of participating in, I concede, but mine was rather unintentional, as I tried to make my post few and far between in hours but it still didn't help), given the goal of the game is deflation. ._.; Oh well, I suppose some is inevitable as it's such a highly sought after item.

Just kinda sucks that my boyfriend and I worked our tails off arting and posting, were planning to pool our money as well as our mules if need be to get me the hairpin, and, geh. xD; But I'll just work harder for next time! >D I'd say play harder as well, but I dislike bid wars and viciousness, so. But seriously...the hairpin is very sought after and the purpose of an auction is bidding. The hairpin is still down about 80k from it's price before these auctions....I consider that to still be good. Don't worry, you can always try again and I'm sure you'll get to win it! <3
