I agree with you there too but it's much more difficult online to tell someone's tone in a post. You could post something and mean it to be nice and someone can take it wrong. I've done it so many times, especially with my sister and she does it with me and we end up arguing until we realize wait, it's just words.

How to draw the line?

I guess it just depends on how well you know the person and know how they joke around. Maybe a person jokes around alot or maybe they are a bit more serious. Just depends on how you look at it. I tend to take everyone to seriously sometimes and usually end up taking things wrong alot.
