Well it was the first piece I ever commissioned so I knew nothing about art and she pretty much knew it. It cost me 100 gold....I don't know what she's charging now. I don't think she likes me anymore because I didn't tip. Usually I do...but I was questing and she pretty much disappeared for a month or two and I wasn't even sure she was coming back. ^^;

aw... i don't think she dislikes you... i mean as an seller of art... (i don't consider myself an artist)... i think tips are appreciated not mandatory... i mean if i wanted more, then i might as well charge more... DX
well, the only reason i'll feel bad is if a person tipped everyone but me... then all i'll think is my art is bad... has nothing to do with the fact that the person didn't tip me... XD

Well.....I only think so because the next person who got art from her....she kinda made of point of saying she would do it quickly and well because he "paid well". :? So I was kinda like.....geez okay I'll go away now.

nah, it's ok... i don't like to bother artists who aren't OPEN... that plus when you pm, it's usually bribes and i'm not about to use a big amount of gold to bribe... ^^;

I was thinking I want to get one of my avatar and cynnie's avatar or possibly get art done of my rp character....which I guess is an OC?

Gaia is really confusing....it's big and the shops keep moving and every time I think I'm in the right place, I figure out it's a thread of someone looking for art. Maybe I should do that?

cuz most threads are more for reference than actually getting any requests... if you have really nice items to offer, i suggest a contest more... ^^;

Hmmmm maybe I should wait until I have the gold to buy a nice item? Or to replace one of mine that I could offer? My most expensive items are the coco kitty and the CN Scarf. :? I can make a decent amount of gold but it will take me a few days/week to build it up again.

well, what i mean is use stuff that you have extra... i wouldn't use things that you only have one of or are special to you... ^^;
well, people often plan a while to earn the goldies and items needed to make a contest... but i think those the are easiest way to get lots of art... but then you might not end up with the specific artists that you like... ^^;
