Although to be honest, I think more or less everyone will get upset/annoyed when they've been hacked, no matter what it is. It's more feeling violated than being robbed form IMO.

I always get PM's asking for my password,
to check my trades to see if I myself am a hacker.
I never fall for those.

I was scared about the first one.
I've been on there for three years and my first PM like that was about...
three weeks ago.
I just asked for advice in the Q & A place.
They made it clear it's a hacker.
So I now never fall for those.

I don't know how else you'd get hacked.

Oh and, there are many other ways. the way i got hacked was, someone on my friendlist had sent me a link to vote for her avi in the arena.
And i though nothing of it because she was a friend. It sent me to the front login page. :/ Stupid me, i should've questioned it.
Turns out she was hacked and the hacker sent the link to a fake login page.
And thats how they got my pass. Damn b*stards.

Sorry to hear about you getting hacked, but yeah gaiaonline is the site which has the most reports of peoples accounts getting hacked, I should know since im from Gaiaonline.

But my account hasnt been hacked Thank god, What was your name on Gaiaonline? have you reported the hacking to the admins on their?

Also never full for people who Pm you saying "OH I did this and next thing i get is 100k!" or anything like that.

I got banned because I let my friend on my PC and she was botting the whole time.. For weeks, and so my whole IP got banned from Gaia. I have yet to recieve an e-mail back.

Gamestop replied same day when I e-mail them. But for Gaia.... Heh. Months. Possibly Years.

lol.. Her Botting was close enough to hacking. She hacked a program to get her gold without having to be at the PC..

How did you get hacked, if you don't mind me asking? Keylogged or Gave pass away to someone pretending to be GM or something else?

Friend (which was hacked) sent a link to a fake login page. So i thought nothing of it. So yeah, keylogged. :/

I hate hackers. I was hacked on Gaia and it sucked. I didn't loose that much only a a couple hundred k but it was all I had. I don't even bother with that site anymore, which was why I was glad I found this one recently.

She's still my friend and all. Just wish she would have told me. :lol:

That sucks. I think it's pretty ridiculous how low some people go. I don't care if people do it for themselves, say in a game they duplicate items for money, but if they mess with someone else's account/items/money/etc, then I can't stand it.

When my sister was hacked, a guy pretended to be a GM asking for her password, she panicked and did it anyway. Oddly enough her account was banned and his account was untouched. But I suppose the fact that I hacked back into her account to get the trade evidence could have got her banned.

At least you still hav e your account. I lost 10 mil worth of items, my name(which I wont get back since some f*****g noob stole it), and my account thanks to the stupid dumb admin of suberta and his lack of good decent security coding. I will forever burn his site for it =x. Thank god for mules but all my stuff gone, friends have helped me out in getting some back but all that hard work gone. I hope you can get your stuff back eventually. ^_^;

Kris: There are Other ways of getting hacked other than giving out your password and falling for a stupid pm scam =s. Keyloggers, lack of another sites security system ect.
