actually i've never been on CoV ^^; but i really want to try it. is it better than CoH? what level are you? what server? o3o im so curious about that game xD do alot of people still play it?

i got hacked four times on neopets. :x i had approx. 100 k stolen!

I had something like that happen to me once on Gaia, but nothing major. Lost about 18k. I shrugged, and moved on. After that, nothing happened... I guess because I prefer using the "poorer" clothes, people usually don't pick me as a target?

I was hacked like that on Gaia too.
I only lost 16K though, because the hacker only got to my mule. I had trusted the person, like you, when they sent be some link, and it made me re-login. I had actually done it with my main account and my mule on Gaia, though luckily I was able to change my main's password before she got to it. If I hadn't I would have lost a lot more than 16K, mainly my most prised possession on Gaia, which I always keep on my main account.
Its an item thats not really worth that much gold, but it has a lot of sentimental value.
See, I was questing for a pitchfork, and all my friends at the time (which was only like 5) put what little gold they had together and donated the exact amount I needed to buy one. Those people are still my friends on there today. If anything happened to that item, my Gaia-life would be crushed. v.v

And yeah i understand. My friends had actually donated quite an amount to me, because i was saving up for Golden Laurels.
One of my friends donated over 100k to me, another over 20k and another over 10k. Even if it wasn't all that much, I still cherished that gold and I am so upset that all my hard work and their donations were all flushed down the drain. D<
But what can you do. And after my account got hacked, they were nice enough to donate to me once more.
I love my friends. xD

ah actually i haven't been on in FOREVER xD it doesn't work on my mac ;_; but when i played there were lots of people on it o.o and i like it better than CoH i find it more exciting 8D and i was on level 30..i think...xD;; it's been a while

I lost 600K on Wicked Car Horns 'cause I clicked too quickly on what I thought was chear Horns of the Demon and didn't check. D; So she was entitled not to refund me, even though I explained it was an accident. It just seems like such a LOW thing to do.

:/ Didn't really bother me in the sense it was just a game, but NOBODY - not even monkeys! - like being cheated. It's like a genetic trait or something.

my gaia got hacked about a year ago, all of my accounts.
I didn't share my password with anyone and I probably got the same thing you did without noticing it.

so I came back after taking a break from gaia, noticed my 2 main charas were empty of everything and looked at trade records and found some random mule had taken everything
over 200K in gold
tons of donation items and more.
I submitted 3 different hacking report things, and still have heard nothing back after almost a year if not more. I'm done with gaia :roll:
if not for that reason alone.
No one knew my passwords, I didn't have to many non-RL friends on there and I had a long going art shop that got most of my funds.
I don't know why someone would do that...just ridiculous.
