They cut off a foot of my hair and I'm going to fill out a form and send it in!
I've been growing my hair out for the last two years, (it was nearly 18 inches long from my roots to the end!) and I was hoping to get most of it cut soon. So my hair stylist put my hair up and snipped away at it.

I got my hair highlighted and everything afterwards and having short hair is just weird now! I don't have to worry about tangles and I won't have to use as much shampoo or conditioner. Its right at my shoulders and I can't put it up anymore and now I have to get used to having hair in my face again xD:

I know how that feels. I used to have hair down to my waist, but then last year, I cut it to my shoulders. For weeks, it felt weird to feel my hair and not be able to pull it back without it falling forward into my face again. When I washed my hair, I was surprised at how it didn't get all knotted up.

I got my hair cut during the summer, and it was still short when I went back to school. Everyone was really surprised, and the first thing they said to me was "You cut your hair?" of "It's short now!".

After a while, I got used to having short hair, and now, almost a year later, it's grown out quite a bit. I'll have to get another haircut soon.

I'd donate my hair if I could stand to grow it out so long, but unfortunately I just can't see myself as having long hair anymore. I used to when I was in high school until the end of my senior year, but I didn't know about donating to Locks of Love or whatever that place is, until long after I got my longer hair cut off. Now I always keep it short, because once it goes past my shoulders (even sometimes before it gets to my shoulders), it just feels like such a hassle. I like taking quick showers and messing around with hairstyles and such, so if I had longer hair it would just be a pain in the butt.

I do like getting my hair done in different colours and such, as it's still like how it is in the picture in my signature. But soon I think I'm going to be going completely blonde, I'm just waiting for the pink to lighten a tad bit more so it doesn't turn out orange-ish, because that's the last thing I'd want with my hair right now. xD

And egads, I hate hair in my face. D: Last year before I had it cut and dyed by my friend Tiffany, it was just it's normal brown colour and I had it partially in my face like Tara from 176BIZ used to have his hair when he was in Panic Channel. It was cute on me, but it got really annoying really fast. And now, whenever the bangs get over my eyes, I always go into the bathroom and hurry up and chop it off so it's shorter again, because it annoys me having little hairs poke my eyeballs. @.x I suppose I'm much more picky with my hair now than when I was younger, because back then I'd just have it however long and it would constantly be put up in a ponytail. xD

I an never let my hair get long enough to donate - I get fed up with it and chop it all off.

I seem to go through cycles of cutting my hair really short - letting it grow - cut it kinda short - then really short again - then letting it grow . .you get the picture.


My boyfriend had really long beautiful hair when we first met and when he cut it off her donated 13inches to locks of love - it was a really nice feeling.

I have my hear very long, and I was gonna donated for cancer but my mom did't let me! T_T

She was afraid that the girl damaged my hear! -_-

I donated my hair once, it was about a foot of it. Since then, I've kept my hair on the shorter side since it is, as you said, so much easier to manage.

My friend, on the other hand, seems to have made it her goal to grow her hair long, donate it, and start again. Which sort of sucks for her, because she says she can't dye her hair (But that might just be a lame excuse)

I probably wouldn't donate hair again, just because I have no desire to have that much hair hanging around.

And there's nothing wrong with hair in your face. It doesn't take long to get used to.

That's what I want to do, but my hair is too short at this point. Its only about six inches at the ponytail and I gotta wait a bit more for it to be at least ten.

When I was in 3rd grade I went through a stage where I wanted my hair cut above my ears.

Bad idea.

I want mine to grow longer so I can pull it back. It's right below my shoulders, and my hair gets really greasy really fast (like I HAVE to shower daily, sometimes twice a day) so it gives me zits to the extreme.

I've done that once...it was a while ago though, cut off a whole twelve inches, and gave it to Locks of Love.

I just got my hair cut. It was down to my shoulders and now it's a cm below my neck. It's nice.

I've never donated my hair before..because it's never long enough. xD I would if it was though..I like to help people you know. :]

I don't usually like getting haircuts...but usually I cut it during the summer because it gets really hot and stuff.

Anndd, I hate getting hair in my face. D8 That happens especially on windy days, so I always tie it up..but sometimes I like to keep my hair down 'cause it looks prettier. xD :lol:

lol I had long hair once....but then I got the notion to cut it myself and i ended up farking it up bad and my mom almost had to give me a man look o.o

I've always wanted to donate my hair, because I know so many people need it...and heavens knows I have enough of it.

It's very long (goes almost to my waist now) and very thick...
but the only reason its even partially tamed is because of its length. o-o when its short, its wildly curly but not in any sort of uniform, stylable way.
It just goes bonkers. Like I stuck my hand in an electrical socket. (Hey! I only did that twice and both times on accident, myo!)

I'm also sort of lazy and I don't think I could handle not being able to stuff it all in to a ponytail to keep it out of my way.

Getting it styled is always a pain, though, because there's just such a great volume of hair to deal with. o-o
It takes forever to wash and dry, and then there's the actual styling...
and no one has any good suggestions so I always get the same-old same-old. bah.

The longest I've ever had it is a little past my armpits. I then cut it to shoulder length.
I kinda want to get it cut layered from my neck to my ears, but I'd be afraid I'd regret it. Right now, I just always trim it so it never gets too long.
My friend has epic-long hair, though, and she's thinking of cutting it. It would be really weird, because I'm used to seeing her with super-long hair, but I guess I'd get used to it. I think it'd be really hard to get used to such a drastic change.

My hair is currently up to almost my shoulders, ((I am a male by the way.)) and if at one point in the future, it grew too long, then I would cut it, and if I had the chance to, I would donate it to cancer and stuff. At the moment, I have never donated hair. >.<;' I am all in for donation when it comes to cancer, I personally feel horrible knowing what they have to go through day in and day out, it's sad. I run marathons and donate spare money when I can to people who have breast cancer alot, since it's the few marathons I get to participate to.

I personally don't care if my hair is in my face, as long as it's wet, having my dry hair irritates me tons when it's in my face. D: I haven't done any highlights, or anything modifing my hair, I'm not just really into that stuff.

I myself have not donated hair, I have wanted to but I wouldn't want to lose my hair again.
(I had cancer when I was like 7 and lost my hair)
But it's back now! yay!

You'd have to get the areas of hair lightened that you want purple, then it would work. But not until then. My friend decided to get all of her hair dyed purple, and it didn't really work at all when she just put it in normally. And even then, it came out in three days or less, probably because it didn't have anything really to stick to. I think when there's a lot of colour already in your hair, that's when the dye can't find anywhere to stick, but when there isn't much (like if it's lighter or blonde), then it can actually stick and it'll last longer.

The last time i cut my hair i could of donated it to cancer but i didn't know about it at the time..=__=;

My father has cancer and he was being nice and well he got his hair cut for cancer and WAS suppose to donate it .Its been about a few months (about 8 months ) and there is a bag of hair in the living on a dresser..

I've never donated hair...I've never had enough to donate. I would if I could...I did donate a little money for locks of love to shave someone's head, though. That was fun. >:)
