Easy Leela...just stay calm. Panicking and stressing out aren't going to help you now. And if by some weird chance you don't get the item...we can hunt the person down who does :wicked:

Pisah... No way... I don't want the day to go any faster it only seems like I have just gotten home from dropping Mikes at school and it seems that I will be needing to go and get him in just a half an hour *sigh* and I haven't gotten anything done yet... My apartment is so cold I don't want to move...

Jaz, that sucks! I wish I could give you some of the heat my roommate is wasting by keeping the thermostat @ 67 all day when it's just her in the apartment (when she's not out shopping that is).

My thermostat was on 80 V.V all day yesterday and it didn't kick on at all even though it was reading that the temperature in the house was only 60 >.> plus we get a breeze in through the door and all the windows... I really wish I could afford those plastic window insulation things... I think my windows are too big anyways... Oh well... I will probably be making a door doggy out of some socks I have here today to try and keep some of the draft down... I'll need to make two to try and stop them completely though ^.^;;
I've told our management and the repair guys that my furnace/ thermostat isn't working but they won't even glance at it >.>;; I can't wait to move out of here... Little to no heat in the winter and no heat in the summer makes me a very unhappy girl >.<

Oh Jaz, that's terrible! Especially with children involved, the management HAS to get these things fixed. You should look up your tenants' rights for the state you live in and find out who to get in touch with on that level. If you need any help, let me know!

My sister and I live in a double wide. Cold in the winter time and roasting alive in the summertime. Sucks really. It's been really chilly the past couple of nights and wish that there was someone sleeping next to me to cuddle up to. But for now it's just being buried under the two comforters for warmth.

Queen_Andais Ironic you should mention double wide, we have been looking at them on the internet. we are planning to move to Florida.
You say there cold in the winter and hot in the summer.
The area we are planning to move too, I don't see no actual homes.
unless there ones that are priced in the millions.

Some are more insulated then others. The newer ones are probably much better then the one my sister and I live in. It was built in the 80s. *shrugs* It just seems to fluxuate a lot in temperature.

My husbands (some) family and friends live down there and one of his friends said it got down to 28 last week and his furnace went out as well.
I really liked the Crystall Rivers area. the one we where looking at was built in the 90's.
I really like that one , but It is out of our price range. the ones that are in it are so small. I don't want to feel like a sardine .
so our moving there is still up in the air, but after spending a week in temperatures below 20 I beginning to think sardine is not so bad.

Sardine helps with the heating :lol: But I understand what you mean. We live in a double wide and it's just big enough for the two of us, plus boyfriend when he is around.
