Haha! You're so brave, Leela, reading it! <3 I trust your judgement, though, so tell me frankly: is it good?
Also, yup, I got your e-mail, though I gotta admit it got lost in my list of unreplied mails at the moment. ^-^'' I got some new acquaintances a couple of weeks ago, and apparently they're very interested in how I think about things. A reply shall come soon, though.

No worries Rei! I just wanted to make sure you got it!
hmm I am not sure what to say about Twilight. It is a bit addictive, but on the other hand, her writing style drives me nuts! Also, I have rolled my eyes more than a few times...

Yeah, see, from what little I read of it, the writing style just annoyed me to pieces. Oh well. If it ends up in my library, I'll probably read it, but I'm definitely not buying the series.

I guess so...it may not be good, but sure is addictive, LOL?
Anyway, I am finished so I will watch the movie this week.
There are just so many plot holes though...I dunno
I'll suggest reading it so we can discuss it..hahaha

Apparently the 12-16 set doesn't really mind lack of plot as long as the girl gets the boy and he's pretty. :D
I've read them all, mostly because, like you said Leela, they are addicting--written just well enough that you want to know what happens at the end, but not well enough that they are an actually compelling read. Don't expect improvement in the rest of the series.

Oh no...lol
Ok, I probably wouldn't go further except for the fact that my teenaged daughter is bugging me and the fact that if I set out to read something, I just have to finish it..lol
White text incase spoilers..(Twilight, New Moon spoilers)
v
ok, so I am at the part in book 2 where she is trying to learn to ride the motorcycle...I am thinking to myself, this has been boring since Edward left..and who in the hell takes such planning for weeks to try to be reckless...not to mention, as if they went to test drive without helmets?? Surely Jacob would think of helmets when teaching someone to ride a motorcycle??
Oh and it's not too obvious what Sam is or the "big bear" in the woods....
^
Spoiler over...

Yeah...like I said, it's good enough to get you to want to see how it all ends, but it's really predictable and elementary.
