So my best friend here in Mene (Midnight) and in real life is questing for some kind of dress,she really liked when she joined Mene,but like,alot. ._.
I think its the dreams gown...wich is worth alot of gold.
So since she's been always there for me and helped me a ton in everything, I feel like giving her a hand. ;3

So I gave her all my gold. XD
Around 400g.
It's all the gold since I joined Menewsha and haven't bought ANYTHING for my avie.
After she notice of what I did,she got really happy and stuff.
And I feel a little strange with myself,difficult to describe,I don't normally do that.
Mene is a site that for me is pretty hard to make gold,all I can do is post,I don't have Firefox so can't play. >w<

  But yes, I do this a lot for my friends... I'll buy them the item they're questing for.. I'll give them gold I could use for myself for their quest and stuff like that.. I'll even give them some of my hoards.. even just after buying the item for myself I'll give it to them..
  
  I love helping out friends and I'll never EVER regret it.. this place is to have fun make friends and converse. Not to be greedy about gold and items, that is in my mind. I love this place for it's community and the users on it who are so friendly and I like giving back in any way I can.
  
  I do this with complete strangers even, if I talk to them, get to know them.. notice them speaking of their quest. Mention I have the item, do they want it... or donate. :D That's just who I am and I love it.

I can't exactly do that here, being the poor person I am, but on gaia I do donate on occasion. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy. 8'3

And if I ever get well off on this site, I'll probably donate to people here too.

Oh man, yes, I've felt like that.
On Gaia, I had a remaining 200k left from a category in a contest that I won. I donated 100k to my friend because he was questing for something. After that, I didn't know how I felt cause then I started having urges to spend XD

Buut, the thing is though, when I make friends and they put time to our friendship, I totally spoil them too XD

Yes, I gave my boyfriend a ninjaheadband worth around 800k, sold a lot of my stuff to get him a demonic pendant, and helped him get other items on Gaia. I have also helped others in a similar fashion.

Just normal; it's just something I do when people want something and I feel I can help them accomplish it.

I have. I did it purely cause. . . well, I'm modest, and I don't want to sound stupid or cocky. But I did it out of the goodness of my heart and I wanted to help a friend in need. It's good to help people. Plus, it leaves you with a good feeling even though you've lost something.

Half of me thinks I'm an idiot, but then the other half says you did a good thing. Karma -- what goes around comes around. Hopefully I'll get the same in return someday. And you very well might too. :D

Nah, I don't think I did. I made someone's day. It's a good feeling.

Well on zantarni, I had alot of people who kindly helped me get all sorts of clothes and items I wanted. I try to reward there kindness with art XD But alot of times I just thank them greatly, and surprise them with gifts later.

(Drifting off topic) Anyway, once I saw how nice people where to me when I was a newb to the site, I then in turn went and donated to a bunch of newbies, they thanked me and then I felt very good. I also felt good because after I helped them get started they in turn went and helped out another new player and then that new player helped another player. (It was like the movie "Pay it forward") Anyway the point I'm trying to make is that I feel nice when I do stuff like that, it makes me feel happy to help someone else. In your situation though, I may feel differently, I'm very protective of my menew gold, and have a hard time saveing it. If I gave it all away I may feel a little upset ;_; Or very happy, I don't know....

Anyway that was a very kind thing to do for your friend, and I'm sure she's very happy!

i cant really do that here cause i dont have friends here that i talk to. all my real life friends are on Gaia and because i'm so quiet and reserved, i hardly make friends in real life, let alone on sites like this.

I don't have any close friends on here, actually.

I've been questing for like 2 days for just some boots, I only have 6 gold left and when I get them I'll be flat broke too xD.

I probably would do that if I had friends on here.
But on Gaia I used to do it a lot, and most of the people didn't even say thank you or anything. So I don't anymore

I echo the last four posts. Would, but i have no close friends to help out.

I had a charity going for a while. But it got tedious, and I was getting gold really slowly, so I closed it down. ^^" I still make random donations if I've been talking to a person and I like him and he's questing.

Or on Gaia, my boyfriend accidentally sold a crown (a casino one) for like... 100k. Another friend of his and I sold a lot of stuff, I sold my penguins, and we got him another between us. ^^ I like the feeling of helping people. :3

I've never really had the gold to help out with something like this. Most I do is under sell items.

I don't really give out the clothing I got to random people either, because it's hard to know wether the person is intentally running around in underpants or not.

I hope that one day soon i can do more donating and helping with users on here. I predict it will be in the future when I have more gold.
