I don't know really. If the person was a nervy kind, i'd proberly tell them to go ahead. A lot of fims and things i've seen often had that in, and the would be killer ended up not shooting.

I'd probably open and close my mouth like a fish until they got bored and just kill me.

Most likely, if I were asked that question, I'd be in the sandbox (Iraq). I know I have to go sometime, and either I'd have a team with me, or we'd have some system, like 3 mic clicks for kill him or something. So in essence, he may have a check, but I have the mate. ^.^

If I was in that situation, I'd just start singing a song, and hope that other people around me would join in for a musical, and at the end of the song I'd do something funny and we would all laugh and walk away from might have happened.

It's very interesting reading everyone's replies.

I think I'd porbably panic, scream and wave my arms about all ver tha place but if I did say something it probably would be something along the lines of "because if you kill me now, I'll never be able to realise just what I did wrong". Presuming that person didn't just randomly jump at me, then it'd probably be more like something along the lines of "because my family will grieve".

i would most likely say im not reddy to die or what would your mother think of this..... then theres why are you doing this..... i could come up with 100 made even 1000 things i could say... if i had kids i would say because i have # kids waiting at home for me.

I would have two answers depending on how far away from me they were/if I was carrying a knife (sometimes I have some as long as i'm not going to school or going through metal detectors). If I had one and they were at close distance I might say something like "Look down. That's the reason." If they were too far out/if I didn't have a weapon, i'd say something geeky like "Because I know regular expressions." xD

Then i'd just have to hope that they were either a computer geek or went WTF to the point where they didn't kill me. xD

Why would you not answer? Even if you just start babbeling BS, at least you made an attempt to save yourself. If they ask you for a reason, the person is offering you a potential out.

Personally, I'd probably panic and make some really bad joke like "Because who will feed my dog?" as "I don't wanna die a virgin!" is pretty risky, and hope to God they have a sense of humor, but, if my humor has fled me probably something among the lines of how I didn't want to be seperated from my family and friends, and hopefully them from me just yet.
